Charming house/garden, 8 min from Nantes

Located 8 min drive from Nantes, 40 min from the beach, 8 min walk from the tram, 2 min from a bus, my house dating from the late 19th century is located in a quiet area. Renovated with eco-friendly materials, keeping the old-fashioned charm with some contemporary additions, it is simple and relaxing, ideal for families. There are 3 bedrooms and a living room upstairs in a row (it was an attic) but with 2 accesses via the staircase from the living room of the ground floor and the other from the dining room of the ground floor: bedroom 1 (bed 160, slatted bed base, tatami mats, new organic latex mattress), bedroom 2 (bed 140, slatted bed base, latex mattress), bedroom 3/living room (sofa bed 140), bedroom 4/cabin (bed 160, pallet bed base, new futon/latex mattress). The rooms upstairs and the dining room on the ground floor are equipped with electric fluid inertia heating. Two of the four rooms are therefore open to a staircase (bedroom 1 and the living room), the small bedroom/hut is under a ramp (low ceiling), arranged like a hut, ideal for children. The kitchen offers a large worktop made from an oak farm table, a 4-seater table with usual equipment (new fridge/freezer, dishwasher, new gas stove with an electric rotating heat oven, microwave if necessary). A number of appliances are available (raclette, croque-monsieur, waffle maker, grill, etc.). The large living room is very bright, parquet floor with fireplace. Books, magazines (cooking, photos, sea, music...), comics (Larcenet, Lepage, Blain, Pedrosa...) and records including many vinyls (I will ask you to be very careful with these beautiful objects) are at your disposal. Children's games are available: Lego Classic, memo, markers, puzzles, card games, a lot of Djeco references. I don't have a TV. An additional room accessible from the veranda and the living room of the 1st floor, will allow you to have lunch and dinner while being very comfortable, with its large table of 12 seats, and a sofa bed as an extra bed. The bathroom is on the ground floor, it is equipped with a bathtub and toilet. An additional bathroom (with shower) has been located in the veranda since October 2023. The house has a 96 m2 garden enclosed by stone walls and a veranda redone in September 2023 (wood, metal and glass) filled with plants. You will enjoy garden furniture, a barbecue, 2 sun loungers, a large off-center parasol, a large "bar" table with two benches. The garden is very pleasant, it is behind the house, no street noise is to be heard, sometimes planes fly over the neighborhood because the airport is close and the planes, when they arrive from the East, fly over the city of Nantes, Rezé and Bouguenais to access the airport. The house could accommodate 10/12 people, but I prefer comfort. However, I can consider any request for an additional person for a surcharge. I am happy for you to water my plants if your stay lasts more than 3 days ;-) and to feed little Kim (born in early April 2020). She has an electronic cat flap, and is therefore free to move around. In fact, I cannot accept other animals during the stay. Finally, I can offer room or half-house rentals. In this case, the calendar is different, the house is much more available. Contact me for that. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house. Other things to note The house is oriented to the east (garden side) and west (street side). It is 5 minutes from the airport; at certain times, depending on the winds, you can see and hear planes passing.
