We are looking for a quiet group to rent our 3 bedroom townhouse. We live a few minutes drive from the centre of town and 5 minutes walk to Tallows beach. The house is lived in but is clean and comfortable. We will provide you with linen and all household essentials. This is a townhouse so we do have neighbors who are close by. However, you will have your own private entrance. Definitely no parties or loud noise- suitable for 2 quiet couples or a small family. The space Our home has 3 bedrooms each with a queen sized bed. We have a large outdoor deck with a tropical garden and an outdoor shower. Parking is on the street. The house also includes: -a well-equipped kitchen and essential cooking utensils - linen and towels -TV -wireless internet -use of our washing machine and clothes drier THINGS TO NOTE We will be locking some cupboards and wardrobes to keep our personal belongings in. We will provide freestanding shelves and clothes hangers as replacements. We will be leaving some personal possessions out e.g. books and board games. You are welcome to use them during your stay. We have two small children so there is naturally some wear and tear on the house such as a rip in the leather on the couch. We do not have air conditioning due to carbon footprint considerations. We find that opening the windows and ceiling fans suffice. We live in close proximity to the beautiful Arakwal National park so this means there is plenty of wildlife around. While we do our best to keep them at bay, you will need to prepared for the odd daddy long legs spider, cockroach or ants. The upside includes chance (outside) encounters with geckos, green tree frogs, lizards and an abundance of birds. On wet days you may notice ‘stink horn’ fungi pop up in the garden. These are an inevitable part of the subtropics and are good for the soil but please don’t let children touch them as they are poisonous. You are welcome to help yourself to the produce from our veggie gardens, paw paw trees and banana trees. We have a father and son who live downstairs. They have a separate driveway access.
