A unique house with Jaccuzi and amazing views!

Casa Valentine is located in the area of Cotobro / San Cristobal in Almunecar, looking out over San Cristobal beach, the town and the surrounding mountains. It is a comfortable house with gorgeous views and a great location! It is a good 5/6 minutes walk to the beach ( downhill) and probably more around 15 minutes uphill ( rather steep), but that's the price to pay for the wonderful view!. We recommend a car, we have a garage and you can also park in the street which is very quiet. The space Casa Valentine is a beautiful house that has everything, and where you can relax from the moment you arrive. Comfortable and pretty with calm surroundings, and still not to far from the beach and shops. house has a open, light and airy feel, and lots of fun decorations. Casa Valentine is a unique and charming house with a lot of soul! The beautiful living room has big glass doors leading out on to the terrace with its fantastic views, and it has a fireplace - perfect for the slightly chilly autumn evenings when you just want to cuddle up on the sofa with all it’s cushions, or relax with a good book and a glass of wine. Casa Valentine has three bedrooms. All of the bedrooms are located on the first floor, and all the beds are new, comfortable and of good quality. All bedrooms are nicely decorated. Two of the bedrooms have double beds and one of the bedrooms have two single beds. All bedrooms have their own unique style, and the biggest of the bedrooms has its own balcony with fantastic seaviews! In total, Casa Valentine sleeps six people. The house has two bathrooms. One on the bottom floor with access from the living room. The second bathroom with a tub is upstairs, close to all of the bedrooms. Our house has 2 large terraces, each 30 sqm approximately. The living room opens up on the upper terrace with 2 very large sliding glass windows. On the upper terrace, we have a large round morrocan-style breakfast/dinner table, from which you have the most amazing and inspiring view. The is also a barbecue and an outside lounge area with comfortable cushions. The are two very large awnings to protect you from the sun if necessary :-) On the lower terrace, you have the sunbeds, the jaccuzi and an outside shower. From the jaccuzzi you have the same amazing views... The pool is shared for 6 houses, it is a very beautiful and original pool, surrounded with flowers and fruit trees. There's rarely more than a couple of people around it. It is very quiet, airy and relaxing, you will love it too. Guest access Almuñecar is a vibrant town, but still has the heart of an old Andalusian "pueblo" with its narrow cobbled streets and whitewashed houses. The old town is full of tapas bars, bodegas, restaurants and interesting shops of all kinds. In the market hall (Mercado Municipal), you will find daily fresh fish, meat, fruit and vegetables from local growers and suppliers. On Fridays, there is a street market (Mercadillo) on Paseo Blas Infante. Here you will find clothes, shoes, ceramics, jewelry, handbags and more. Attractions in Almuñecar include among others the ancient Phoenician fish salt factory, Roman aqueducts, the botanical garden Parque Majuelo (in July every year an international jazz festival is held here), Bird Park Loro Sexi, the old Moorish castle of San Miguel, aquarium with sharks and different fishes, and the water park Aquatropic. For golf lovers there is a golf course with 18 holes just 20 minutes drive in the neighboring town of Motril. Located at the foot of the snowy Sierra Nevada mountains, lies the Granada province’s fantastic capital Granada. It does not take more than an hour to drive there from Almunecar, making it possible to ski in the morning, and take a dip in the Mediterranean ocean in the afternoon! A visit to the Alhambra is a must while in Granada! The Moorish palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is one of Spain's most visited attractions. A variety of airlines (Ryanair, Vueling, Norweigan, SN Brussels Airlines, Jetair, SAS ...) flies for bargain prices to Malaga. At the airport you can rent a car easily and cheaply. Then it is a 60 minute drive from the airport to Almunecar and Casa Valentine. Welcome to Casa Valentine! We had a crush on Almunecar more than 20 years ago, when we rented a holiday home up in the hills in the suburbs of the town. Ever since then, we have been coming back regularly, until we decided, 2 years ago, that we would buy a holiday house here. We think we have found the most wonderful and perfect location, with a peaceful and unforgettable view over the sea, the beach the town and the mountains. We have had our lovely house completely redesigned and decorated to high standards by an interior Architect/designer, and the result has in every aspect met all our expectations.
