The location in the very heart of the ancient city of Zadar, the 3000 year old town protected by UNESCO. NOTE: This apartment is situated in an apartment building on the 1st floor (in US terminology - 2nd floor - NOT GROUND FLOOR!) Everything a guest needs is literally "round the corner". Ideal for couples. We rent the place during summer months - July, August and September (not for rent from the beginning of October until the end of June). The space Our Heart of Zadar Studio Apt is a relatively small, but cosy and brilliantly located place for your visiting Zadar, a beautiful town on the north of Dalmatia (southern region of Croatia) - which has actually been elected "The Best European Tourist Destination in 2016"! NOTE: This apartment is situated in an apartment building on the 1st floor (in US terminology - mezanine /1/2/ floor - NOT GROUND FLOOR! Minimum stay: 5 days! Guest access PARKING: There is a public parking zone (2nd zone) appr. 50 meters far from the Studio ( in that zone parking has to be paid from 8.30 am-10pm during summer season). Parking is charged by city authorities! However, the parking zones that do not have to be paid are close to the centre (only 7-10 min walk from the Studio/ centre of Zadar/ "peninsula"). The guests can drive the car to the centre only in order to take out the luggage, but then - they may move the car to a free parking zone that can be easily reached on foot! If the guests arrive by plane or bus, they can take a taxi from the main bus station to the centre (it costs about 40 kunas / 5 euros to reach the centre, i. e. for max. 5 km). The property is 100 metres from Zadar Archaeological Museum and St Donatus' Church, one of the most beautiful examples of mediaeval Christian architecture; The Museum of Gold and Silver of Zadar is around the corner (cca 80m away). The nearest grocery store is 30 metres away, while numerous bars and restaurants can be found nearby. Zadar Bus Station is 1.5 km from the Heart of Zadar Studio Apt, while Zadar Airport is at a distance of 12 km. Other things to note We expect that our guests let us know 2 or 1 day prior to arrival about the appr. time of their arrival (we do not live in the same building; this is an apartment building and not a hotel). We expect the guests to inform us about the way of their travelling (if they are arriving by car /parking!/, bus, plane... All these information are crucial for their arrival and accommodation to be well organized. We are at disposal to our guests throughout the period of their stay in our Heart of Zadar Studio Apt. However, communication between guests and hosts is "two way street"; as hosts we need our guests to INFORM US (on time) if any problem occurs or/and if they need any help!
