Woodside Cottage in the Kettle Moraine forest of East Central Wisconsin offers a quiet private getaway for Road American race fans, golfers or those wanting just to have a break from the city and explore the area. This 2 bedroom guesthouse can host 8, with laundry, full kitchen, living room and outdoor fire pit. Due to family guest allergies, we are pet free. Located 4 miles from gate 4 at Road America and 20 miles from Whistling Straits golf course. WIFI available, but unreliable. 3 cars MAX The space This guesthouse is on the upper level of a workshop/garage. It is located up a full flight of stairs and away from the main house for privacy. The 2 bedrooms are separated by sliding pocket doors. There is room for 8 guests if beds are shared. Guest access Guest have the full upper floor. There is a firepit with seating outside of the guesthouse. Additional parking for more than 1 car is located just on the side of the building. We can accommodate NO MORE THAN 2 vehicles. If you are pulling a trailer, our winding driveway makes it difficult to get to the guesthouse. Subdivision road to property is hardpacked gravel, paved once you get to our property. Other things to note We are located in a quiet country subdivision on the outskirts of Plymouth, which is the "Cheese Capital of the World" and is home to many unique shops and restaurants in the historic downtown. There are 23 murals painted on buildings throughout the downtown as well. You can visit the historic Cheese Counter and Dairy Heritage Center on Mill Street then stop by the Plymouth Brewing Company to experience some local flavor. The Plymouth Arts Center offers a variety of cultural activities and artistic displays. Woodside Cottage is also just a couple of miles from the Wade House Carriage Museum and Homestead. Also located very close to the Greenbush trails at the Kettle Moraine and access to Parnell Tower. Elkhart Lake is within minutes with their beautiful lake and restaurants. We are located 15 miles directly west of Lake Michigan. We are 1 hour from Milwaukee and 1 hour from Green Bay, perfect location for activities in both areas. Due to severe family allergies we are a no pet property. Early or late check-in/out must be arranged in advance.
