Artist Studio

Minutes walk from the station and city centre - this self-contained, Artist's Studio has a sleep/dining/work area and a mezzanine sleeping space and is full of light. Anyone is welcome to stay here - you don't have to be an artist - whether you are in business, an academic, sightseer, musician, 2 individuals or a couple - everyone likes the tranquil environment and the easy access to Cambridge and the lively Mill Road. NOTE. Not for small children and some with mobility issues - check photos. The space The Studio is on the first floor of our terraced, family house. Entrance to the Studio is up one flight of stairs through our house (see photo). Once in the studio the upper sleeping area is accessed by a ladder (see photos). The Studio is self-contained, very private and lockable. PLEASE NOTE - the stairs and the ladder may make this space inaccessible to some with mobility issues. There are 2 cats in the main house but they never go in the studio. Guest access Once through the studio door, everything is your private space. Other things to note The studio as a whole is on the first floor and accessed by one flight of stairs. The sleeping area (space 2) is accessed by the ladder shown in the photos. The upper sleeping room is half-height - you cannot stand up in it - and you definitely cant dance in it! Parking in Cambridge can be a challenge. Parking on the street outside the studio is free Mon-Sat between 200hrs and 0900hrs and all-day Sundays. For other times there are reasonably priced meters plus other free options including street parking 5 mins walk away. Otherwise there is JustPark's app and website which lets you book a guaranteed space in Cambridge's most convenient city centre car parks. From here you can pay online.
