Schafferhof - Mariahof

For over 30 years, we have been renting our 600-year-old, 220-square-meter farmhouse to families and friends. The house can accommodate up to 14 people plus 2 cribs. Families who have been coming to us for many years appreciate the tranquility and the ample space in and around the house. Don't you want it to be so quiet? Also OK. We are the only neighbors within 600 meters and loud music has never bothered us! The space The kitchen and living room form the heart of the house and were renovated in the spring of 2022. The kitchen is equipped with a wood-burning stove, electric stove, fridge, freezer with three compartments, two coffee machines (pods and filter machine), dishwasher, blender, kettle and dishes for 20 people The farmhouse parlor is heated with a tiled stove and thus offers cozy warmth. Seven bedrooms are divided into one single bedroom, one twin bedroom, four double bedrooms and one quadruple bedroom (double and single beds). In addition, there are two cribs that can be accommodated in each of the rooms. The house has two bathrooms. One of them is on the first floor with a bathtub, shower and washing machine. The second bathroom with two separate walk-in showers incl. changing rooms is located on the first floor. In addition, there are 3 separate walk-in toilets. In addition, there is a pantry (basement) and a large private outdoor area with garden sets and sun loungers. The garden is also ideal for barbecuing in the summer and in the evening the starry sky can be observed with the telescope. For children, in addition to the two cribs, there are also two high chairs, a changing mat, books and toys. For young and old there is also a foosball table, badminton rackets and various balls. There is free Wi-Fi, but due to the thick walls in the farmhouse, it is not available in every room. Fiber optic connection since December 2024 For e-cars there is also an 11 kW wallbox Additional fees: electricity for heating and hot water, about 0.30 euros/kW, tourist tax (2.50 euros/adult/day and residual waste (EUR 5.00/bag) Please bring bed linens or they can be rented for €10.00/person. Nothing will be charged for firewood and final cleaning if the house is left swept clean. For short bookings (2 or 3 nights) we charge €140.- Surcharge, to be paid on site at the time of departure. Only weekly booking is possible during the high season. Guest access The vacation home is completely at your disposal. We - the hosts - live 50 meters away on the same farm. Other things to note From Monday to Saturday there is a bakery service, so you have fresh pastries for breakfast (almost) every day. The Grebenzen golf course is only 200 meters away. The Grebenzen ski resort is 5 km away, while Kreischberg and Lachtal are each about 26 km away.
