Description

Vibrant townhouse set over four floors, bathed in sunlight, full of character and only a 10 minute walk from the beaches, National library, golf course, University (and its extraordinary arts centre) and all amenities. Aberystwyth - "feels like a village, shops like a town, plays like a city, works like a dream." This is not a house for minimalists or those with mobility issues as there are multiple staircases. Please read reviews to get a sense of the place before booking The space Welcoming dining room as you enter ... kitchen opens into the dining room to give you a perfect space to have lovely meals at home. The garden is a little oasis for an afternoon coffee in the sunshine. Guests have the full run of the whole house including: one top floor double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and another double bedroom; a first floor single bedroom, cosy sitting room and family bathroom; a ground floor dining room and kitchen; a downstairs garden room (beware .. only a 6ft headroom) and a private outside courtyard garden, which is in full sunshine in the afternoon. The house is set over four floors so there are plenty of stairs to navigate and is not suitable for those with mobility problems. Everything in town is walking distance so the house is perfect for exploring, visiting family here or working at the University. Well-behaved pets and children are welcome Guest access #4 is on the opposite side of the street to Coopers Hotel and the purple front door is up some steep steps. The lockbox where you will find the key is on the wall to the left of the door and we will send you your code a couple of days before your arrival. Parking in the area is all on-street. Other things to note Two nights minimum stay please. Also Aberystwyth is a noisy town when the students are here. The lads seem to take great pleasure in shouting and singing at the tops of their voices in the middle of the night. The town is surrounded by mountains and there is very little in the way of greenery to soak up the noise so sounds get super amplified. You will hear loud voices that sound like they are just downstairs but when you look out of the window there is no sign of anyone. Be warned and bring earplugs if it is student season. Also don’t expect our home to be a 5-star hotel .. some guests seem to think they will get champagne for beer money .. not happening
