Beautiful classic villa north of Copenhagen
Beautiful classic villa north of Copenhagen
Description
Classic home, close to Copenhagen but with forest and lakes on the doorstep The space Our home is a classic danish 'Patricia Villa' from 1923. Situated 20 mins from the centre of Copenhagen and close to forests, lakes and the Øresund coast, it's ideally positioned for a family wanting to explore Copenhagen and the castles of North Zealand. The ground floor offers a kitchen with all modern conveniences, dining room, lounge and study. There is a double sofa bed in the study that can be used as an extra bedroom if needed. The dining room and lounge open up to a 35 m2 terrace that looks out over the 1400m2 garden. The perfect place to sip a glass of wine in the summer whilst watching the kids play on the trampoline. Upstairs are two good sized bedrooms, one with double bed and one with a single bed plus guest bed. The home's second bathroom is also on this floor with rainforest shower. The newly renovated basement contains the master bedroom with double bed, bathroom with rainforest shower as well as the home's games room with double sofa bed. The basement's entrance from the garden is via the utility room with plenty for space for jackets, shoes and luggage as well as full laundry facilities and an extra fridge freezer Holte town centre is a 15 minute walk and here you will find several supermarkets as well as traditional local shops (baker, cheese shop, fishmonger and wine expert). There are several excellent take aways and cafes. Copenhagen's 'backbone' the S-tog (train) runs from Holte station to Copenhagen every 5-10 minutes. This part of greater Copenhagen really is ideal - close enough to be part of the city but also surrounded by nature. We're right next to Rude Skov (Rude Forest, yes it really is called that!) where there are mountain biking trails, horse riding paths and a 2.5km running trail. Come and explore! :-) Guest access Entire house Other things to note Our home is opposite a lake with private access for the houses on the street. It's great for swimming in the summer and ice-skating in the winter although the ice must be 10cm thick before you venture out on it... so ask the neighbours before you do!
