This bohemian, Cycladic-style villa sits in a private plot of 5,000 sqm (with its own pool and private tennis/basketball court) overlooking the Aegean sea & Agrari beach - the perfect kids-friendly base to explore the island. A tranquil retreat in bustling Mykonos, it offers privacy, nestled in the stunning rocky landscape of the sought-after south of Mykonos. Spacious, lateral living space opens up to a shaded pergola area and a securely-gated pool with sundeck. The space The villa comfortably sleeps 8 adults + 4 children. Adapted to holiday life with small children, the estate features custom-designed child safety very rarely found in holiday villas, separating the shaded pergola area from the pool and infinity deck, without blocking the view of the stunning landscape and Aegean sea. The residence is the family home of a Greek expat in London and his Swedish wife and their young daughters. It has a relaxed Myconian interior design and additionally features thoughtful touches such as an open air shaded mini gym, small art studio, vinyl player/hi fi with a curated collection of records, a multi-lingual library collection of eclectic summer reads and cookbooks, an electric Webber BBQ station, as well as a hi-res projector for screening movies in the open-air or indoors. There is a private full regulation-size tennis/basketball court (racquets and balls are provided), with an adjustable hoop to suit the needs of kids and grown ups. The residence is also well stocked with toys and books for under-12s, plenty of pool toys and sand toys for the beach – as well as high chairs, junior chairs and cots. Recent additions include a shaded outdoor mini-gym (water-rower, exercise bike, TRX, weights, battle ropes, yoga mats etc - there is also a separate sun yoga area), a shaded lounging area with a hammock and a remote working area (office desk) - both with sea views! We have two internet connections (Starlink and local provider); Starlink offers speeds in excess of 100Mbps, perfect for video calls and streaming. Guests receive a gift booklet with off-the-beaten track recommendations on where to swim, play, shop, eat and drink in Mykonos through the seasons from April to October inclusive, annually updated by the owners. Given its position and quiet setting, the villa can also optionally serve as digital detox retreat by turning off Wifi and relying on the cabled internet connection instead. Other things to note Clean sheets and towels are provided every fourth day. More frequent cleaning and other services (concierge, massage/yoga/tennis instruction, private chef, guided tours, boat hire, grocery shopping at check-in etc) can be provided by separate arrangement with caretaker team.
