2-story living space sleeps up to 6. Downstairs has a kitchenette (no stove or kitchen sink) with a microwave, coffee pot, mini frig and utensils. Dish tub provided, and you can wash dishes outside. Outdoor charcoal grill. 2 can sleep on the Futon sofa bed. Lg walk in shower in bathroom. Upstairs has 1 queen, 2 twin beds with 1/2 bath. Outdoor charcoal grill, electric skillet & air fryer. Located on 300-acre farm on Ouachita River with easy access for floats, fishing & private hikes. The space Comfortable, private, cabin feel living space built within private large shop we lovingly call the Sharn (shop+barn). Entry has covered porch for relaxing outside. The living area has a table that seats 4, kitchenette area (no stove or kitchen sink), and futon. Large tiled shower with access from porch and from interior. Upstairs, there are 3 beds and a half bath. Heating and cooling by a split system ac unit. Guest access We are just off of Hwy 270, 10 miles northwest of Mt Ida, Arkansas (quartz Crystal capital!) The Ouachita river Pencil Bluff canoe take-out is on our property, so you can rent canoes or kayaks from local outfitters or bring your own, fish or just hang out in the water. Hike or bike on our 300 acres. Bring your lawn chairs and build a fire in the pit just below the Sharn. Visit Lake Ouachita (about 20 min drive), Hot Springs National Park (about an hour southeast). Hike or bike on the many trails in the area. Other things to note Come prepared for whatever activity you enjoy. Here are just a few suggestions: Ice chest, drinks, snacks, easy meals, Hiking etc- boots, hat, sunscreen, bug repellent, water Floating- good water shoes (flip flops don't work). The rocks can hurt if you don't have proper shoes. Sunscreen, water, snacks Biking- you probably know what you need... Binoculars Paper plates etc
