Country Log Home suite near Portland AND Mt. Hood

Welcome to our log home guest suite - a roomy, comfortable suite on the main floor of our home. It has a King bed and dresser. The house has radiant heated tile and bamboo floors. There is a walk in closet with a small refrigerator. The covered porch has a view of our pastures. Kick back and relax in our country home! Great for hiking or skiing on Mt. Hood, exploring the Columbia River Gorge, or enjoying the city of Portland . No hidden fees. We DO live in the home. Continental breakfast. The space Upon entering the home, your suite is across the living room- the door is near the wood stove. The bedroom portion of the suite has a king bed and dresser for your use. It has a sliding door onto a private porch overlooking our pastures. There is a small refrigerator in your closet. The kitchen is available for your use - as is the main floor living area. This is our home and we are happy to share it it with you. The upper level is reserved for our use and the main floor is shared use. We may also have guests in the other main floor bedroom. We do have outside cats. They occasionally are on the porches but are a bit shy. You are welcome to interact with them. Guest access You are welcome to use the kitchen and main floor living space. We do provide coffee and continental breakfast items. For guests staying 5 days or more, we can work out laundry use if needed. Feel free to wander the property, just please don't go in with the horses unless we are there. Please park up by the garage in one of the two spaces marked “guest parking”. During your stay We love getting to know you and sharing our home, our farm, and our region of Oregon with you. Other things to note We usually are here to greet our guests. We are both employed part time out of the house, so there is a likelihood that if you are arriving before 5, you will be letting yourself in (we will send you the lockbox code) and doing self checkout (just return the key to the lockbox, and lock the door). Since I am a teacher, I am not always available between 8 and 3 so it may take time to get a response from me. If you need to check in early or have other questions, allow extra time for hearing back from me. Most guests have had no problem making arrangements, but there’s always a chance of miscommunication somewhere. Please note! When you book on the same day you will be checking in, the room may not be ready before 6:30 PM If you are booking for 3 adults, 1 will have to be on an air mattress.
