Beachfront accommodation in a grade II listed period home built in the 1760's with views of Kingsgate Castle. Set in a stunning location directly opposite the sandy beach of Kingsgate Bay. The space This is a fully equipped ground floor (no stairs) 2 bedroom flat in a characterful grade II listed building. Built in the 1760's the main lounge diner was the original study & library of the first owner Henry Fox (Lord Holland). The large lounge has many period features and lovely sea views overlooking Kingsgate Bay and the castle. In the lounge there is a large table and chairs, a leather Chesterfield sofa and a double sofa bed. Included are a CD stereo/radio, TV with FreeSat & DVD player and Wifi. The kitchen comes equipped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, cooking hob and oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. The bathroom comprises of a toilet and basin, large bath and electric power shower. Bedroom 1 has a double bed with wardrobe & chest of drawers. Bedroom 2 has two single beds with wardrobe and chest of drawers. To the rear of the property there is a picturesque 80ft lawned garden (for sole use) with large patio area and a small children's slide and climbing frame. Garden table and chairs and a BBQ are provided with the property. There is free off road parking for one car in front of the property. Unfortunately we cannot accept dogs. Guest access Access is to the whole of the flat with sole use of the back garden. We cannot accept pets. Other things to note The area is a bit of a mobile black spot and you will struggle with reception. We enjoy getting away from our phones, but if you do need access, you can get a good reception at the pub or the bench at the top of the steps to the beach. The property does have WiFi.
