Casa Acqua Dolce A very comfortable 4-star holiday home of 190 m2 (for a maximum of 8 people) with a wellness area. It is located in the centre of ancient Oprtalj. The house has 4 double bedrooms, each with its own ‘en suite’ bathroom. The living room is large and bright, the kitchen is fully equipped. A spacious terrace with barbecue offers a wonderful view of the Mediterranean landscape of Istria. The space This four star holiday house at only half an hour drive from the coast offers the perfect possibility of a day at the beach with the calm of a little town in the interior of Istria, relaxing in your own spa and then a delicious diner on a terrace, while the sun goes down. The house accomodates 1 to 8 people in all comfort. Prices depend on the number of bedrooms used. However, even if you are alone, we always guarantee that you have the whole house exclusively to yourself. Of course it is the spa or wellness, in the two lower floors, that makes this house so unique. It offers an indoor pool with jetstream/water massage, Jacuzzi, two showers with warm 'cuddle' walls, sauna, cold water bath, relax area with electrical massage mattress and changing room (with refrigerator, wine glasses and even a hair dryer). Furthermore the house disposes of central heating (floor heating). As such the house can be used all year round. So why not come during spring or during the season of the white truffle, which you can find from September till January. We can alos offer Internet connection (ADSL) via Wifi. A special feature is the large panoramic view from the living room and terrace, overlooking a Tuscan-like landscape, with vineyards and olive trees, as well as the main square and the town "lodgia" from the 17th century and the city square with the large chestnut trees. On a clear day one can see the Adriatic Sea and the Alps at the same time. But possibly the best experience is to dine on the terrace at sunset. The house was completely renovated in 2006. We did respect the historical treasures that we found in the house, such as the old city rampart of the 12th century. Guest access Free access to the private in-house spa. You also dispose of a large open kitchen-living-dining area with splendid view over wine fields and town square with loggia. Furthermore there are two large terraces, one with BBQ and garden kitchen, from where you can enjoy the sun going down over the hills. On a clear day one can see both the sea as the Alps. Located in the historical mountain-top town of Oprtalj, with rustic bar and restaurant. A small shop and postoffice are within 50m distance. It is safe for children (with small play ground). Other things to note This house was completely renovated in 2005. It is fully equipped and disposes of central (floor) heating, making it a year round destination. There are 4 bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. We can house up to 8 people with guaranteed privacy.
