Welcome to Casa Flora, our family-friendly Istrian home in Novigrad. The house is 3-minutes’ walk from the (ecologically certified) green beach, local grocery stores, restaurants & kid’s playground. No car needed! You will have the entire house (110 sq. m.) for yourself: 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living room - all recently renovated, accommodating up-to six guests. Relaxing on the kiwi-shaded front porch or amidst the two gardens will make you want to never leave. The space Family-friendly house, featuring amenities such as 50-inch smart TV, Netflix access with kids menu, fast internet and large library. Fenced, private parking for max. two (2) cars on the premises with a shade provided by an old kiwi tree - also overgrowing the front porch terrace, with easy access from the living room and kitchen. The marble terrace is overlooking a small garden with olives, citrus trees and flowers - makes a perfect dining / barbecue spot or a chill-out area. There is also a heated outdoor shower surrounded by greenery - perfect for those who like to shower in nature. The ground floor consists of a spacious living room (35 sq. m.), fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The living room on the ground floor features a large cozy sofa and a smart TV connected to the internet (no cable). The kitchen/dining area features an oven, dishwasher, a microwave oven, coffee machine, water boiler, a refrigerator and a freezer and is well stocked with basic supplies such as coffee, tea, olive oil and spices. Grill BBQ available as well! The downstairs-bathroom features a hair dryer, towels, and washing- / drying machines. The upper floor is reached by climbing the wooden spiral stairs and consists of a bathroom, a master bedroom (16 sq. m.), two smaller bedrooms (9 sq. m.) and a reading area/library. The upstairs-bathroom has a walk-in shower and is equipped with shampoo, soap and towels. The large bedroom features a king-size bed (160 cm wide). One smaller bedroom features a queen-size bed (140 cm wide), wooden shelves and a cabinet, whereas the other smaller bedroom features a standard single bed (that can be also transformed into a twin - two single beds 90 cm wide). All rooms have access to the upper balcony that offers a sunset sea view. Wooden shutters for all doors & windows. As of now we don't have mosquito screens on doors & windows, but we provide various mosquito repellents: from electronic to smoke coils. Guest access The guests will have access to the entire house (110 sq. meters); there is no one else living on the premises. The house is to be entered from a patio (wheelchair accessible). Access is also possible through a garage (upon request) where you will find (among others) a barbecue, lounge chairs, beach amenities, table soccer, children high chair – and where you can keep your own stuff like bikes, etc. Other things to note Casa Flora is our family's holiday house, built by my father in the 1970s. We love Novigrad and Istria - so if you need any recommendations on cafes, restaurants, things to do, swimming or walks/jogs - feel free to ask us. Please use the facilities properly, with respect for the books, decorations and furnishings. Any damages to these or equipment installed must be paid for. Please contact us if there are any maintenance issues during your stay - don't hesitate to contact us as we want your stay to be as enjoyable as possible and would rather resolve any issues during your stay (e.g. empty gas). We would also appreciate your feedback on issues such as blown lightbulbs, non-functional appliances and other minor faults as sometimes these things can go unnoticed by our cleaners. Istria is a year-round destination, and if you visit outside the high summer season you will feel quiet. Add renowned gastronomical offer (seafood, truffles, wild asparagus, olive oils and local wines such as Malvazija) and you have a new Tuscany - all within a 20-kilometer radius. The sea keeps warm between May to October, but with Cash Flora's central heating you can visit anytime.
