BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT THE HOUSE AND EXTRA SERVICES In short if you are not too much into reading we provide everything: - simply amazing view (exactly as in the photos) - 400 meters away from the waterfront - free parking -Starlink WiFi great for work & streaming - ihnouse fireplace in the living room for cozy fireplace evenings - linens, towels & all kitchen stuff - washing machine - breakfasts and dinners for extra charge at our family home nearby A bit less concise description follows;) BASICS Villa Nadya has absolutely incredible and unique view on lake Garda exactly as in the photos. You simply can't imagine it. It comes fully equipped with everything you need the cooking in the kitchen (pots, pans, dishes, silver, salt, peper, oil, coffees, tees, etc), all linens, several towels for every guest, shower gels, toilet paper etc. The parking parking is right at the entrance terrace and is included in the price, so you do not need to hold a place in the surrounding public parking lots and pay for that. Waterfront is 400 meters away (5-7 minutes walk down the 2000 years old picturesque stone paved mule route). All year round grocery store is 10 minutes walk away. As you can see from the photos, the house has a air-conditioning unit, the gives coolness in summer. In winter central gas heating keeps as warm as you like. PETS are more then welcome, however we charge extra 30 EURs for antiallergic cleaning in this case. DINING We cook home breakfasts and dinners at our guesthouse nearby and you are welcome to join them if you would like to. The breakfast is continental style: freshly baked pancakes, oatmeal porridge, fried eggs, breads, cereals, jams, freshly brewed steaming coffee in Italian Bialetti coffee maker. For the dinner we usually cook Italian Napoli style pastas or Ukrainian traditional dishes, home made olive oil with breads and cheese and wines and it usually continues into evening talks between us and guests over the table. The approach in both cases is there is no limited portions, so be sure you going to be full when you finish. For avoidance of doubt both breakfasts and dinners are extras, but not obligatory to take, so it’s up for you decide whether you would like to join it on a day-by-day basis. Please don’t hesitate to ask us of you would like to know more about it. KIDS & BABYSITTING If you travel with a child, we certainly provide baby cots and high chair for free. We can also help you out with baby-sitting if you want to run away for a romantic dinner on your own to a waterfront restaurant. Its 15 EUR/hour. HOUSEKEEPING And in case you need extra cleaning of the apartment during your stay we do that as well on request. The usual fee for these kind of help is 15EUR per hour, extra change of linen during your stay (if its needed) is 10 EURs. TRANSFERS: If you need a lift or want us to pick you up from the airport, train station or any other place, just let us know. The rpoicing is very reasonable prices compared to local taxi services. CHECK-IN (from 4pm): me or other memeber of my family will welcome you in person, show you the apartment and share basic details about the area. We'd be grateful to learn you estimated time of arrival (ETA) once you get on the road on the day of your arrival and please send us a nessage *30 minutes before your actual arrival time* so we make sure we are on the spot welcome you to our place. EARLY CHECK-INs and LATE CHECK-INs. While we are trying to accomodate all our guests requests for that and be flexible, it depends on number of factors, including the departure of the previous guests and cleaning times. For the early check-in you are always welcome to come earlier and leave the car in our parking spots for free and check-in once the room is ready after 16:00. We also accomodate a bit early check-ins free of charge if we can reasonably manage that with cleanings times. If you would like to check in significantly earlier (before 14:00), subject to the room readiness, we can accomodate that as well on most of the days subject for a 20EUR early check in fee. For the late check-ins we ask a 20EURs late check-in fee for the check-ins later then 21:00. So if you want to avoid this extra charge, please kindly plan your trip respectively and plan for the check in with us during the regular check-in hours from 16:00 to 21:00. 2. WHY IN MY VIEW WE ARE LOCATED IN ONE OF THE BEST SPOTS IN GARDA LAKE? Garda Lake is huge, so where is the best area for vacation? After 10 years of visiting Garda as a tourist I knew exactly where I wanted our family house to be located as we decided with my family to reallocate here and start doing bed&breakfast instead of corporate jobs. Here are some points for your consideration: a) Northern vs Southern part Alpes mountains start in the middle between south and north of the lake where it gets narrow. So if you like mountains like me and want them to be right at hand for instance to do trekking then it is the Northern half of the lake. Here you can find any individual and family sport activity you can think of: trekking, paragliding, mountain bike, alpinism, windsurf, kitesurf, yachting, white water & canyoning etc. Too long list, just tell us what you would like to do and we tell you where to find that. The Southern part of the lake is plain, however you still have great view of the mountain on the horizon. South is more beach tourist type, much less sport activities there. However all kids focused activities (namely Gardaland amusement park with Legoland waterpark, Movieland and Caneva World waterpark, Parco Natura Viva zoopark&safari etc) are close south and located near the towns of Bardolino and Lazise. It is not a long ride from North (around 40-50 minutes), however if you plan Disney World type of vacation with kids (I mean 7 days of amusement parks) – then certainly Lazise and Bardolino are the spots you need to stay around. Peschiera, Sirmione and Desenzano areas are mostly beach vacation focused destinations. b) East vs West shore In the south part of the lake there is no big difference. In the north part west shore is much more rocky with just few towns like Limone on the waterfront. Which means less beaches and tourist attractions around. And the view from the west beach is not as spectacular as from the East beach (like you can see in our photos). c) Town vs village In large and most popular touristic towns in the North like Malcesine and Riva del Garda to me it is too overcrowded in summer, however that are the centers for sightseeing and sports. In small villages like ours you have the same or even more authentic medieval scenery (like hundreds years old paved mule track in mountains behind the house you are welcome to explore), nice truly home run restaurants and bars, smaller local watersport centers and you can always easily reach the major spots for sightseeing or sports with a short car ride. So basically the smaller village, the less overcrowded it is. Which also means more space on the beach in summer. d) Waterfront or mountains? It looks like for an unexperienced Garda tourist that the closer the apartment to the waterfront, the better. However there is traffic noise from Via Gardesana. This is the highway which goes along the lakeshore, and which is busy 24/7. So if you think of tranquility - always look for something several hundred meters away from it. This is a type of experienced Garda traveler in depth insider advice you can get from us regarding every aspect of your journey during your stay with us. How to avoid traffic jams when driving to Garda Lake in summer? How to avoid queues to MonteBaldo cable car? How to organize a private plane flight over Garda Lake? Where to go trekking? What is the best wine yard of Valpoliccela to visit? We know all this and many more. Just don’t hesitate to ask what you need! Guest access It is a private apartment; you don't need to share any of the spaces with anybody else. Our family runs the guesthouse GardaDoma that is 1 minute walk away from the apartment (100 meters). That is where you may meet the other our guests if you would like to socialize during your stay and that where we dine together with our guests. Other things to note The appartment is located on a hill and the path to the lake and waterfront part of the village has couple of steep places. It is 5-7 minutes walk down to the lake from the house and 7-10 minutes back up to the house. We also pick up our guests from the bus stop if you travel by public transports. For families with small kids or elder guest we also provide a free pick up from the lake to the house in the afternoon and in the evenings (if it is too tiring to go up - just give us a call - and we will pick you up). The parking is right at the entrance terrace of the apartment – so there would be no difficulties with finding a spot in the public parking and you do not need to pay extra for the parking in case if you stay with us.
