Come, stay with us and experience tropical bliss! The space Sunsets & Palm Trees - The over-an-acre property abuts the quiet backwaters of river Pampa, a place endowed with incredible natural beauty. There are two tastefully styled cottages with three rooms. The rooms are equipped with modern creature comforts and accented with retro and eco ambience. Hardwood furniture, hurricane lamps, palm leaf ceilings, Malabar tiled roofs and other subtle details would take you back in time to a bygone era when life was much more peaceful. One of the cottages a personal dip pool and the other cottage has a fabulous river view from your bed. Each cottage is surrounded by lush tropical personal gardens and bamboo fencing. The outdoor spaces are covered by a canopy of tropical trees with open sunlight spots for sunbathing on traditional day beds. The al fresco dining area is on the edge of the river, adds to the exhilarating tropical charm. Guest access Guests can access most areas on the property barring the main house. Please note: The rooms gets assigned as per number of occupants selected by you. The rooms are independent and hence the charge per room per person will be visible when you book. Other things to note Other stuff ...you may be looking for answers to. FOOD: Our food is fresh, our produce used is local, our spices are carefully selected and we travel a fair distance to get the freshest seafood and meats. For those not keen to have Kerala food, we will try our best to accommodate non Keralan food options, we will neutralise it but will not to be able to provide non Keralan region specific dishes.  • Breakfast is included. We typically serve South Indian fare, with some toast & eggs to order.  • Lunch and dinner is excluded in the price. However with a day's notice we offer a fixed menu for vegetarians and non vegetarians. Meal includes 3 main courses, breads and/or boiled rice at Rs 650 per head (for vegetarian) and Rs 850 per head (for non vegetarian) + 5% GST. THE THREE BED OPTION This is typically for larger groups upto 6 people. What do you get? - 2 cottages, 1 single and 1 twin. - 3 bedrooms with king size beds, 400 thread count linen, summer duvets and all air conditioned. - 2 cocktail pools, 1 for the single cottage and 1 for the twin cottage. - 2 sun loungers and 2 traditional Indian day beds whose weave is made from recycled plastic. - 2 mini fridges with essential mixers. - 2 sun worshipper spots to soak in the sun and 1 shade spot to cool off. - A malabar tiled swing - Art in the rooms and outside have been painstakingly collected from different regions of India. - Lastly, one bath is outdoor and tropical in every way...for those in the group that love dancing in the rain... *n*ked*. For the more conservative, we have two indoor rain showers :-). COMMON AREAS This won't be the case if you take all three rooms, the whole *common* place will be private to you. Three is a fair amount of space around the property, most wander towards the gazebo with its sheer curtains fluttering in the breeze or dine in the _al_fresco_ dining area on the edge of the river. Tip: the fish in the river do enjoy little pieces of left over egg from your plate. My favourite spot happens to be a discarded bench that I have placed on the river's edge, a great place to sit and stare down river with a cup of tea or your choice of poison and a fag (smoking is injurious to health). POWER ( Electricity) The village usually has a good run with power with rare interruptions. On occassion(s) we do have an interruption for which we have a back up generator that will power the air conditioning, lights and fans and your hot water supply. WATER We use filters to purify our tap water but it is not suitable to drink. We have a reverse osmosis machine that filters drinking water in case you are averse to plastic bottles. We have packaged drinking water available as well at Rs 35 a bottle. Each day of your stay with us you get 2 bottles of complimentary water. We do not use single use plastics and all our plastic bottles get recycled. IN ROOM REFRIGERATOR 2 of the 3 rooms have an in room refrigerator, essential mixers are stocked. Aerated drinks (Pepsi, 7 up, Miranda) are priced at Rs 60, Schweppes Soda Water - Rs 60, Schweppes Tonic Water - Rs 100. KAYAK RENTAL Kayaks rentals are charged at Rs 300 upto per hour per head.
