The perfect base for your highland holiday

A lovely family size home from home in sleepy Balnain in Glen Urquhart close to Drumnadrochit and Loch Ness. Your stay will be in a fully equipped house with stunning views of the hills, Loch Meiklie and overlooking the children's village park. Ideally situated for exploring the highlands the great glen, Loch Ness, Inverness, Urquhart castle, forest treks and so much more and of coarse lots of wildlife to see. All are welcome and the entire house and facilities are yours during your stay. The space In the house you should find everything you will need including wifi. The kitchen has the usual appliances along with microwave, kettle, toaster and a full range of cutlery and crockery. The lounge has a log burner which is great on a cold evening and all logs and materials will be supplied there is also 2 large comfortable sofas, a dinner table seating 6, TV, DVD player and a small selection of books and DVD's. Upstairs the bathroom has a bath, toilet, sink and separate shower towels will be supplied for you. There are 3 bedrooms 2 having double beds 1 room having bunk beds that do fit adults and all bedding is provided. A travel cot and high chair are also available on site but these are the only child friendly items here. Other things to note Pets are permitted to the house this will be mostly dogs and we do ask that they are kept in the downstairs areas of the house as much as possible, a stair gate is also available to help out and we do have a large dog bed, feeding bowls and cage available. We do ask that pets are not left alone especially if prone to barking and if possible all treatments etc are up to date. We are pet owners ourselves and fully understand the problems so please ask firstly if not sure about anything. There is an enclosed area at rear of house that is ideal for pets, the area beyond this is a private garden. But the front of the house does get the sun and is great for sitting taking in the views and with the children's park opposite its great for families. Registration Details HI-50884-P
