A stylish and cosy, well equipped 2 bedroom cottage sleeping 4 located in a quaint historic area in the heart of the fishing village of Newlyn which is nestled on the coastline between Penzance and Mousehole, both of which are within easy walking distance. All the amenities of the village are only a minute walk away with fresh fish shops, a bakery, a greengrocers, deli, Co-op, cafes, independent filmhouse, restaurants, take aways, galleries and even a homemade ice cream shop all to be found. The space Tregwary Cottage dates back to the 18th century and would originally have been home to local fishermen and their families. It is located in a quiet historic part of the village, free from traffic with rows of cottages and part cobbled walkways. The cottage has been renovated to a high standard and offers comfortable accommodation with all the amenities of Newlyn right on your doorstep. You can find a bakery, fresh fish shops, greengrocer, deli selling Cornish produce, Co-op, Newlyn Filmhouse and a good number of restaurants and take aways all within a few minutes walk of the cottage. For those travelling without their own transport the cottage is also superbly located for direct buses towards Mousehole, Penzance, Porthcurno, Lamorna, Sennen, Land's End and Penzance railway/ coach station. The accommodation comprises of 2 bedrooms located on the first floor. The first has a kingsize bed and the second has the option to be either a twin with 2 single 2ft6 beds or these can be zip and linked to create another kingsize bed. Both bedrooms have hanging and drawer space, bedside tables and lamps, full length mirrors and a hairdryer is also supplied in each for your convenience. The bathroom is on the same floor as the bedrooms and has a full size bath with shower over. The kitchen is bright and tastefully designed and has a bar area with 2 stools for less formal meals or just keeping the chef company. There is all you would expect in terms of appliances with a toaster, kettle, microwave, electric hob and fan oven, dishwasher and fridge/ freezer. A utility area is adjoined to the kitchen with a washing machine available for guest use. The sunny paved outside space is accessed from the kitchen and with a table and 4 chairs this provides the opportunity for al fresco meals, afternoon tea or drinks before heading out for the evening. This area has its own separate gated entrance and also has a washing line, boot stand and hanging rail for wetsuits. Bicycles may be safely stored here overnight. The lounge is the main focal point of the cottage and has exposed granite walls that hint at its history, a fireplace with a flame effect electric heater for cosy nights, farmhouse table with chairs, window seat, 32 inch smart TV, a comfy 3 seater sofa that you won't want to leave and a large armchair. There is a selection of games suitable for all ages, local guides and walking books for guest use and good Wifi access throughout the cottage. Towels and bedding are provided for your stay along with a welcome tray of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and a local treat. Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, kitchen towels, hand soap, bin liners and toilet rolls are also provided. Guest access Guests have private access to the whole house and outside space. Other things to note 2 x dedicated EV charging points available in a nearby car park (1 minute walk - Duke Street car park). Car parking fees apply whilst occupying the space but free overnight from 4pm to 9am.
