The Mexico Inn, Flat One

A one bedroom flat with sea views overlooking Mounts Bay in the heart of Longrock. Set above our award-winning neighbourhood pub The Mexico Inn, the flat is positioned within a 5 minute walk of Longrock beach and a 20 minute walk from Marazion. The space Flat One is a small self-contained flat set above the The Mexico Inn. This space is ideal for a couple. There is one double bedroom, a large shower room and a kitchen/lounge. In this room is the double sofa bed which is perfect for a child or suitable when two friends are travelling together. There is an additional fee for the use of extra bedding, please let us know if you require this. Within the kitchen area is a kettle, toaster, a double induction hob, a microwave, and a fridge. All linen and towels are provided. Guest access Key - On arrival our guests will find a key on a keyring in the Lockbox located next to the flat entrance. Presenting this keyring in The Mexico Inn also gives guests 10% off meals! Parking - There is plenty of roadside parking along the road outside the front of the pub. You can also park on the roadside on the two roads coming off the mini roundabout towards Marazion. In addition there is parking on the Industrial estate at the cross roads by Enterprise car rental, as well as cheap parking overnight in the Longrock Beach carpark accessed over the trainline. There is a map in the information box in the flat for you to see these places to park. Other things to note Shared staircase - This flat shares a staircase with an adjoining Air BnB flat, Flat Two. There is a locked door at the bottom of the stairs that guests from both flats will have a key for. The stairs only lead to doors for Flat One and Flat Two. There are separate Keysafe boxes for these flats. Noise from the pub - The flat is above our pub The Mexico Inn, and understandably we are asked about noise coming up from the pub. To give you a feel for the pub, please look at our website by following this link: Home | The Mexico Inn In short, The Mexico Inn has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and is enjoyed by visitors and locals alike. There will inevitably be some noise heard from the pub, however, it is not a rowdy pub and is more of a relaxed food led style pub where everyone is welcome. We hope The Mexico has something for everyone. Flat One is situated over the restaurant part of the pub. Public Transport – Penzance train station is 1 mile away (National Rail Enquiries - Station facilities for Penzance) with Penzance bus station located next to it ( Journey planner | Cornwall | First Bus ) and there is also a Taxi stand here. There are bus stops in both directions outside The Mexico Inn. From here you can get regular buses to St Ives, Penzance, Mousehole, Marazion, Helston, Falmouth…… There is a car hire depot here in Longrock just 2 minutes walk away (Penzance Car & Van Hire | Enterprise Rent-A-Car) Supermarkets - There are two supermarkets (Sainsburys and Morrisons) within a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk. Penzance town centre can be reached on foot by walking along the picturesque cycle path (approx. 30 minutes) or by car (approx. 10 minutes).
