This single level home is located just outside of Hornell, NY in a quiet, secluded country setting. Letchworth 45 mins, Watkins Glen 1 hour and Niagara Falls 2 hours. We purchased the property in 2018 and made necessary upgrades while retaining the original character of this classic home. The view of the backwoods from the living room is spectacular! We live at the adjacent property located a few hundred feet away, so we are available as needed. The space We are set up to accommodate singles, couples, families and business travelers. We require that you leave pets at home or find alternate accommodations for them! Guest access Guests have private use of the main level of the home, the front yard and the driveway, and a portion of the back woods. As weather and safety permits guests will have access to a designated walking path behind the home, a designated picnic area, and designated creek area. Guests are not permitted in the (separate locked entrance) basement. The hosts may at specified times access the basement to empty dehumidifiers, ensure proper operation of equipment. The host also keeps inventory for her business and may need to use the space to work quietly or show a customer. These access times are usually mid day but sometimes between 8am to 7pm. Communication, through Airbnb, with guest will be given with as much notice as possible. Other things to note You may have the opportunity to see wildlife such as whitetail deer, wild turkeys, bear (very rare), woodland birds, etc.
