NEAR BLUE RIDGE-Cozy studio guest cabin on a farm!

Unwind at STORYBROOK ACRES in this peaceful and centrally located cabin. Enjoy Daley Creek and the wooded trails on this growing farm. The cabin sleeps up to four and is a short drive to historic downtown Blue Ridge, Lake Blue Ridge, and all the adventuring a heart could want between Aska Adventure Area and whitewater rafting on the Ocoee River. We are a hop skip and jump to all the funsies! Or relax, rejuvenate, and unplug right here on the farm. See more on our page, “Storybrook Acres”. The space The guest cabin is a quaint little studio space with a deliciously comfortable king sized bed and a pull out sofa that is best suited for kids and their young backs ;). We pride ourselves on making sure our guest are comfortable and happy in a clean, relaxing space. The kitchenette holds a full sized refrigerator, microwave and small electric stove/oven. There is a dresser, two night stands and two folding suitcase stands for people like me who don’t have any interest in unpacking for shorter stays. The TV sits on top of the gas fireplace and comes with basic cable TV. You will most definitely have the company of our hens and guineas when you hang out on the patio during the day. Welcome to the farm! Guest access Guests can explore the creek and wooded trails. Enjoy walking passed the animals while you stroll down the long driveway. Warm yourself with a campfire near the circle drive. Rest on any benches that you see; including either side of the chicken coop, across the bridge at the creek, and near the pond. We ask that you do not enter the pasture or other animal enclosures without a host present. We also ask that you do not feed the animals without first checking with the hosts. Other things to note STORYBROOK ACRES is nestled in a valley a little less than a mile down a country gravel road. There may be some bumps and potholes along the way but is still easily accessible. Be ready to see the day-to-day hobby farm workings and animal sounds that go along with country living. We may or may not have roosters singing their rooster songs and other animals to greet our guests, including our Border Collie, Dax, and our cats, Mr. Bojangles and Calliope that roam around the property. Our chickens and Guinea Fowl roam the property also and provide some comedy to boot. We offer add-on experiences and occasionally open up our farm for classes.
