Good location, Bright, South Wedge, AC and Parking

We continue to clean fastidiously, and provide excellent ventilation. Spacious 2nd floor flat with skylights, full kitchen and bath, living room, dining room and bedroom. There is Central Air conditioning and off-street parking. We are ideally located in the city of Rochester, close to Highland Park, the U of R and hospitals...and an easy walk to the cafes, (ice cream!) stores, pubs and restaurants of the South Wedge. Downtown in 10 minutes. Roc Cinema also reopened a short walk away. The space The airbnb space that we offer is an entirely separate flat on the second floor of our house. (The house is a "2 family"). You must climb STAIRS to the second floor. There is room for four people, with a queen bed in a cozy bedroom as well as a queen futon couch in the living room. It is nice and spacious for one or two people, four is possible - however the maximum allowed, and there is just one bathroom. Infants and children are welcome. There is a Pack and Play (with sheets) in the closet in the living room. There is also a baby gate that can be placed in a doorway. Please take care to lock the door closed above the stairs if a young child is present. The kitchen has a lovely breakfast nook that was made by my predecessors. You can eat there or at the dining table in the other room. We love that we are close enough to walk to Highland Park, which is a truly beautiful park - as well as to many local hot spots including Dickie's pub, Tru-Yoga, the new restaurant CRISP, the Swillburger (burger joint with full bar and arcade), Flavors of Asia, the Highland Diner and the neighborhood Cinema Theater that has just been renovated. Walking down South Avenue you will find Equal Grounds Cafe, a pub, the bar LUX, a new sushi bar, Hedonist chocolates and ice cream, and the CO-OP grocery store. All of these things are right around us, and all the rest of Rochester is just beyond...with easy access in every direction. Our street is quiet and friendly with people walking their dogs, kids playing outside and there is a small park around the corner with great toys and swings etc. for kids. We have a long driveway with a gate and parking in the back of the house. You will probably need to back out of the driveway, and please be careful with the gate, and reentering the street. Guest access In addition to the second floor flat, guests are welcome to use our small front porch. Our labrador goes in and out of the back yard, so I prefer if people just use the back yard for parking. Please don't open the gate if the dog, Lyla, is in the back yard...I keep a close eye on her and will get her inside if you need to come in, or go. Other things to note It is very important to us that we respect our neighbors. Please be quiet in the driveway, especially at night - and observe quiet hours. There is enough room for three cars to park in the driveway> I will let you know which spot to take. Please be aware there are stairs to the 2nd floor apartment! Thank you!
