There are no food outlets in the Shute Harbour area and most food delivery services won't come out this far. Uber and Taxi trips to/ from the Airlie Beach main street cost $40+ from your Airbnb location. The kitchen tap is fitted with a water filter and the ice trays are filled, ready for your arrival. Cookware, bakeware, tableware, storage containers, cling-wrap, alfoil, baking paper, paper towels, milk (of your choice), tea, coffee pods, instant coffee, sugar, olive oil, vinegar and salt/ pepper are also provided to make self catering a breeze. The recreational fishing pontoon is worth a visit (best fishing luck in the early morning as the sun rises) and the boat ramp is accessible from the carpark with free trailer parking all hours. Climb the rocks at the end of the beach for amazing views of the Whitsunday Passage and islands. 4.7km return. ☀︎ Mount Rooper circuit- From the trailhead hike or ride the Mount Rooper circuit past the edge of melaleuca intertidal wetlands and steadily up through the forest to the Mount Rooper outlook. Soak up a panoramic vista of the Whitsunday Passage and islands at the outlook. Catch a view across to Daydream and North Molle island as the trail descends steeply back through the forest to the foot of Mount Rooper, return back to the trailhead. The Mount Rooper circuit trailhead is located at the Swamp Bay car park. From the trailhead follow the circuit for 5.3km from the foot of Mount Rooper to the summit and back down to the trailhead. ☀︎ For an easy one, the Coastal Fringe circuit wanders through lowland rainforest and across a small tidal creek next to mangroves. Beginning at the trailhead located in the Conway day-use area. Follow the circuit trail through the lowland rainforest back to the Conway day-use area. If you wish to venture off onto the Hayward Gully way, please allow extra time. 1.2km circuit. Your private entry is down a set of stairs (16 steps) to the side of the house, in front of your carpark in the driveway. However, access to the house, car park areas and garage are under constant 24-hour video surveillance for your added peace of mind. ☀︎ There is no mail service available at Shute Harbour.
