With incredible views, this spectacular property is only 5 mins to Yarra Glen and fabulous wineries. A 12 noon checkout gives you more time to relax. Fully renovated, our downstairs space offers private open plan living and dining, electric heater, queen bed, smart tv, kitchenette/laundry and bathroom. Nestled into the side of a hill, you have 12 acres of paddocks and forest to explore. Note: we may be upstairs. We have a separate drive and entrance to the house and are very quiet! The space Relax and soak in the stunning views in this beautiful self-contained apartment. At more than 50 sq metres, the space offers a living area with queen bed (partitioned with curtains), dining area, two couches, smart tv and electric heater. There's lots of space to sit and enjoy the views. Until July 2025, we offered the full house to guests. Now we can spend more time here ourselves, we have made downstairs fully prviate so guests can still come and enjoy our very special place. The new bathroom has a toilet, basin and shower. There's also a laundry with kitchenette and benchtop dishwasher. Cooking facilities include an induction hotplate, airfryer, microwave, toaster and kettle. For coffee lovers, a Nespresso machine and milk frother await. Outside there's a firepit, dining table and bbqs which are you welcome to use. These are shared facilities but we will respect your privacy if you are using them...unless of course you want to chat. Are you interested in gardening? We have been working hard to establish a productive garden with seasonal vegetables and a small orchard. Let us know if you'd like a look - if we're at the property when you are, let's organise it. You are welcome to explore the entire 12 acres. Which way to walk when you go outside? Can you find all three dams? The ducks will fly past and keep an eye out for lots of other birds and wildlife. Walk into Yarra Glen along the walking trail. Or stroll the other way along the Steels Creek valley - either way you will have beautiful scenery. Just a few kms away is the delightful Yileena Park winery and within 5 kms there is Balgownie, de Bortoli, Steels Gate, Acacia Ridge, Yarrawood and more. Behind the house there is a 4WD road to the top of the property. We recommend walking not driving - it is steep so wear shoes with good grip. The views just get better and better. You can explore the bush over the ridge. Guest access Guests have full and private access to the downstairs areas of the house. You are welcome to explore the property and feel free to say hi if you see us working around the place. During your stay The property will be all yours to explore. We live there part-time so you might see us pottering around outside. Either way we'll be easy to contact. Other things to note If you need an extra hour or two on check out day or would like to store your luggage, please ask us beforehand and we'll try and make it happen. Although we only list for two, there is space and facilities for an extra person or two. Please let us know if you need a portacot, high chair or trundle bed. Extra charges may apply.
