Description
Comfortable, spacious room with king size bed in Covent Garden apartment (81 stairs up, no lift) with shared living room, bathroom and well-equipped kitchen and fast wifi. Friends describe the decor as shabby, cosy, warm and welcoming. Bang in the centre of Theatreland, just beside Soho, Trafalgar Square and the National Gallery, it's a minute to the Piccadilly and Northern tube-lines. Evenings can be a bit noisy from street socialising and early morning when lorries deliver to restaurants. The space Sharing with someone who is super-busy - out a lot, or working from home - this is a perfect place for an independent person, couple or friends who would like the convenient position and being able to come and go as you please. I'm very flexible about checking in and out and storing luggage. The apartment is not suitable for children or pets. Guest access You have use of the living room & large TV, are welcome to cook (cooker, microwave, cupboard and 'fridge space) and use of washer/dryer and dishwasher. I provide breakfast ingredients. The room itself is cosy and full of charm, and comes with a king size bed, clothes rail, mirror and writing desk. Towels are provided. During your stay I'm here most of the time working in my room and am happy to answer questions or provide practical help. Other things to note The downside of being in central London is that there are plenty of city sounds. If guests are used to a quiet environment, this can be a shock, though so far few people have complained of it affecting their sleep, and there is no corridor noise of the kind you get in hotels. I provide earplugs.
