Built in the roaring 1920's, the Carraway Guest House is perfect for a romantic weekend get-a-way or a private and quiet room for when you are traveling for business. The guest room is non-smoking and features an ensuite private bath with a shower as well as all the modern amenities for guest's convenience. The Carraway Guest House is within walking distance of shopping, art studios, antique shops, restaurants, wine shops, chocolatier, beauty salons and banks. The space NO ADD-ON CLEANING FEES! Your room will be upstairs at the top of the stairs. The Jordan Baker Room (after the book, The Great Gatsby) is bright and sunny with three windows and is decorated in neutral colors with a splash of yellow. You'll have a lock on your door and a private bathroom with a shower inside your room. I wash ALL the bed linen, even the blankets and bedspreads after each guest stay. I also sanitize the entire bathroom, doorknobs and all cleanable surfaces after each guest stay. You may join us for conversation or have the privacy of your room or separate living room. The entire house is non-smoking; however, you may smoke in a designated area outside. This is a room in our home, and we do not allow any animals in our home due to allergies. Guest access Once you're checked in, you may have access to the living room, downstairs half bath, the stairs, hallway and your private rooms with your private bathroom with shower inside your room. You may also enjoy all of the large yard and two patios, both with patio tables, umbrellas (in season) and chairs. A large parking area is available for folks with larger utility vehicles or trailers. During your stay Myself, Marc, daughter Jennifer, or son-in-law Matt, will be available to offer recommendations and be available when needed. If we have plans for the evening, we will still be available by phone. When at home, we have a family room separate from the living room if you want privacy, but we're always available to socialize if you prefer. Other things to note We are licensed and approved to be a Guest House in the City of Canal Winchester and State of Ohio; therefore a 17.5% city and state tax is included in our rate.
