In Vallans, a commune of the Poitevin marsh, our 60 m² gîte for 4-5 people, renovated by us and with love, in an ecological way, invites you to share a green vacation with family or friends. Vacation, nature between marsh and sea, rest, relaxation. Nearby: Coulon – La Garette (10 km), Niort (15 km), La Rochelle (50 km), Ile de Ré (65 km), Mervent Forest (50 km), Puy du Fou (100 km), Futuroscope (101 km). The space Gîte for 4-5 people. We aspire to simplicity... to live in the best possible way with respect to Nature. Simplicity that is reflected in the way we live! The gîte: A design where ecological materials and equipment such as wood, hemp, lime, and earth allow the building to breathe and make you feel good all year round. On the ground floor: A pleasant room with equipped open kitchen and living room (convertible sofa). The bay window overlooks a beautiful 25 m2 enclosed wooden terrace, south facing, to allow you to enjoy the brightness, the outdoors... Garden furniture and barbecue are at your disposal all year round! Upstairs: An open mezzanine space with 1 160 cm bed. A small bedroom with a 140 mezzanine bed and a 90 daybed. Bathroom with Italian shower and toilet. Special feature (for the electrosensitive): - The cottage is equipped with a wifi repeater box connected (wired) to our livebox. We cut its power to wifi every night from 1:00 a.m. to 6:30 a.m. to avoid the emission of wifi waves at night. We will adjust and modify these schedules according to your needs! Don't hesitate to let us know! - We also have the option to cut off the wifi at the cottage. - Stovetop: gas burners - No microwave. - Natural insulation made from hemp and wood wool. Activities nearby: Visit the Poitevin marsh by boat - canoe kayak along the water, or by bike with 850 km of bike paths designed to help you discover this incredible natural area! Niort market and walk along the docks. In summer, open-air concerts animate Niort every Thursday (Niort Thursdays) La Rochelle tour. Hot air balloon baptism in the summer. Donkey trekking. Discover the islands of Oléron, Ré, Aix. ... Other things to note Bed and bath linens are not provided, unless it is not possible for you to bring them, in which case please check with us before booking. If we can, we will make them available to you for €25. Thank you also for leaving us the accommodation all clean on your departure, unless there is a special request also (formulate it before your reservation), we will ensure it if it is possible for us for €30. We also ask for a security deposit upon arrival in the amount of €300. If you break something, let us know (it happens!) so we can replace it! Thank you!
