Situated on top of a mountain just 15 mins from Bathurst, the guest house is a comfortable & well equipped 2 bedroom, 2 bath apartment attached to the main Conmurra homestead. Conmurra Homestead Guest house is a self contained unit attached to the main farm house with room for up to 6-7 people on a 67 hectare (166 acre) property dedicated to protecting Australian wildlife and their habitat. It has its own fully equipped kitchen and lounge room. Facilties include 2 x queen beds and 2 x single beds (plus a pull out bed) electric heaters, Wi-Fi, Telstra TV, DVD, Microwave, Fridge, stove and oven and a library. Kids toys plus a cot and baby chair are also available. Included in the price is the chance to go on a night wildlife walk. You will get up close to our resident native Australian Dingoes - Kimba and Kela (unavailable during the breeding season) and see the little endangered animals in our wildlife sanctuary! You can also take a self guided walk along 4km of tracks and trails at any time. Guest access Conmurra is just 15 minutes from Bathurst (20 mins from Mount Panorama), 30 minutes from Lithgow and an easy drive to the Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves. We now offer self check-in to limit contact, though we will still check make sure you are comfortable and have all the you need after arriving. Other things to note Please refer to NSW health travel restrictions before booking. All guests will need to QR code check-in and show proof of vaccination. Conmurra is a wildlife sanctuary and guests can take a free night time wildlife walk to see our endangered animals in the protected woodland enclosure. This walk sets off at sunset and takes about 1 hour. Due to the timing of the walk and as our animals are free ranging within the enclosure, it is generally not suited to smaller children (6 years and under). The walk also may not be possible during wet, windy or high fire danger conditions.
