Hill Top Retreat

We are situated in the middle of vineyards on top of the hill with 270° stunning views all year around, away from the hustle and bustle in a tranquil rural environment. We raise calves & have 2 very friendly dogs. We are 20 min from Blenheim 45 min from Picton and 1H & 15min from Kaikoura by car. Ideal stop over before or after a trip on the ferry.Enjoy the beautiful sunset at night from your room and watch the stars in the night sky and see the sun rise over the sea site the next morning. The space It's a spacious room in a separate wing within the house with a comfortable king size bed, a double door wardrobe, a table & 2 chairs , freeview TV , Free Wi-Fi, different flavors tea & Nespresso coffee. Next to your room you have your own bathroom with shower and toilet provided with towels, shampoo and shower gel. Bifold doors opening onto a terrace where there is a BBQ and another table and chairs to enjoy the 270° views outdoors . Guest access There is your own bedroom access but feel free to just use the front door entrance. During your stay We are available most of the time if you need any advice or help with enjoying the surrounding area. We travelled and seen many countries ourselves and love the interaction with people and so do our two boys 14 and 16 years old :-) But we also respect your privacy. Other things to note As we live rural there is not much on offer for food around here. Your nearest restaurant or supermarket is in Blenheim but if you would like to join us for a evening meal and a glass of local wine after a long day of travel, that is certainly available on request for a reasonable cost per person. Or if you stay more than 1 night I'm happy to do pot-luck.....as in, I cook one night and you cook one night :-) Please let us know if you have any special dietary requirements. If you'd rather like to provide food for yourself, you are more than welcome to use our well equiped kitchen or BBQ to cook your own meals. There is a fridge in your bedroom to store food if needed. We do like to socialize but we respect your privacy as well. As we live rural we have animals such as cows / calves, a cat and two lovely dogs.
