Bridge house. Located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons this refurbished traditional cottage is full of original features including oak beams and stone a fireplace. The cottage has 3 rooms for private use; living room (sofa bed with mattress), kitchen and bathroom, heated by an eco-friendly biomass boiler. Freesat tv and DVD player. A few metres takes you to the nearest footpaths leading to beautiful hills, the Taff Trail or a pretty stream along a valley. Brecon mon canal a short walk. The space Couples or small families looking for a beautiful getaway, the chance to relax and enjoy a peaceful few days listening to the babbling stream outside the house or be active with lots to see and do nearby. This is our home, we have two friendly border collies that do not have access to the air b n b property but you may see and hear them in the separate back garden. There is a small front garden near the babbling stream for guest use, with a table and chairs for relaxing. Guest access Taff Trail (outside the front door!), Brecon Beacons National Park, Brecon Monmouthshire canal, short walk to a friendly local pub- The Royal Oak (booking recommended), Cantref Community Farm, Llangorse Lake and activity centre, Dark Skies Reserve, Brecon town..... A selection of books are available to read at the property about the Brecon Beacons and some info on local activities. OS maps of the area available for guest use. Other things to note Private parking available in front of the cottage. Welcome pack on arrival including tea coffee and sugar. Salt, pepper and vinegar, oil are also provided for your convenience. Waitrose and other supermarkets deliver here. Double sofa bed in living room with mattress. There is a dehumidifier in the living room on a timer to run during the day only, if you wish to turn it off please do or empty the water when full if you are happy too. Maintaining a beautiful old stone cottage is challenging. A basket of wood and kindling is available for your use in WINTER, if anymore is required we can supply it for a small fee, please enquire. Our family live in part of the cottage and extension, we have 2 small children and 2 dogs who don’t have access to any part of the air b n b, but you may hear us now around and about :-) Please close downstairs windows if out or it’s raining.
