As a professionally operated Guest House we have more facilities, choice and are a higher quality than someone just renting out a spare room in their family home. You'll be paying a bit more for the extra comfort and luxury. If you'd prefer a basic room with a cheap price, maybe we're not the right fit for you - If however, you would like to enjoy those extra touches that many people come to expect on their trips away, then come and stay with us :) Guest access Guests have their own key and are free to come and go from the house after check-in (check in 4pm - 9pm). During your stay When you arrive we'll show you to your room and tell you what you'll need to know, we then take a hands off approach so you can head out and enjoy Keswick and the surrounding areas or just relax in your room with a cup of tea. You might see us about the house cleaning, servicing rooms, or checking in/out other guests. Of course we will be on hand if there are any problems or you have any questions, and if we are out we give our guests a contact number... just in case. Other things to note - We provide you with a mini-fridge, kettle, complimentary tea and coffee, mugs, and wine glasses in your room for your convenience. We do not provide a kitchen for guest use. - Check-in is from 4pm - 9pm, for check-ins after 9pm a £20 per hour ‘unsociable hours’ charge is payable, strictly no arrival after midnight (we expect you to bear in mind that we are human beings and as such we need to go to bed at some point) - This bedroom can be made as with a Superking sizes bed or 2 single beds (twin) - please let us know at the time of booking - Smart Radiators can be adjusted in your room - Radiators can be boosted for a short time. Radiators will turn themselves off either at the end of the boost cycle, when the room reaches temperature or if an open window is detected. - Complimentary Shower Gel, Hand lotion and other consumables are provided for guests to use DURING YOUR STAY ONLY, are checked daily as well as on check out. If you remove any contents or consumables from the property either by emptying in to your own bottles or by taking packets from the rooms we reserve the right to charge you as this constitutes theft. - If you have muddy or wet boots/shoes you are expected to remove these upon entrance - We must be made aware of any dietry requirements, or allergies at the time of booking, if you do not inform us then we will be unable to make provision for you.
