Enjoy an off grid ‘glamping’ experience in one of our carefully restored, genuine shepherd’s huts on a working farm and home to Cranborne Chase Cider. Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a darker skies zone, you can enjoy a cosy romantic break for two. It is equipped with a kitchenette and has a wood burning stove. Only a short walk away there is a gas powered shower and a flushing toilet with solar powered lighting. Enjoy a beautiful tranquil break! The space Our carefully restored, genuine shepherd's hut has a fully equipped kitchenette with a sink, gas hob and grill; a double bed that converts into a sofa and a wood burning stove. A fridge is available nearby and cool bag and freezer blocks are provided for your use in the hut. It is set within a lovely paddock with chickens on your doorstep. A picnic bench is provided for outdoor dining. There is BBQ and fire pit available for your use. Flushing toilets and showers are only a short walk away, in a purpose-built rustic wagon with solar powered lights and gas heated water. Basic essentials shall be provided in the toilets. Bedding and towels are provided. Please note there is no electricity or Wifi however there is good 4G signal on site and charging points are available in the farmhouse. Other things to note Please note that the hut is located in a paddock with other huts so you may have to share the field with other guests. However, there is ample space available to still have privacy. COVID 19 UPDATE We are taking this matter very seriously to ensure our guests safety! The hut, toilets and its surrounding are private and no contact with others is needed. We have scaled up our cleaning services before and after stays.
