Reached by a bridge, this 97 acre organic island estate provides award winning accommodation set in beautiful gardens, woodlands and parkland. The cottage has underfloor heating, a wood burning stove and is close to the walled garden, indoor swimming pool and steam room. Guests can buy eggs and organic garden produce in season. The thriving market town of Skibbereen and the port of Baltimore with its sailing, diving and whale watching centres and island ferries are only 10 minutes away. The space Cost is inclusive of underfloor heating, open fire/wood-burning stove (wood supplied), Wi-Fi & Satellite TV. Cottage #3 has two bedrooms; one double and two single beds. (Travel cots and high chairs are available) Bed linen and towels are supplied and well equipped kitchens make self-catering a pleasure. Indulge in some of the wonderful artisan food produce available locally or order from our excellent supermarket who can usually deliver in advance of your arrival. Guest access We are just ten minutes from great restaurants, pubs/music venues, library, arts and crafts galleries, playgrounds and beaches. Guests can enjoy ferry boat trips to other inhabited islands, sailing, whale-watching, diving, sea-kayaking and angling – bike hire is available locally. Cinemas are within 30 minutes drive. There are several local festivals and regattas taking place during the summer months.
