Situated at the top of the property, this room features its own private entrance accessed from a spiral staircase beneath the kiwis or walking through the garden’s gentle slope. A large and vintage bathtub invites you for moments of relaxation as the back gate of the property leads down to the myriad of restaurants and attractions in the village. The room can easily accommodate a crib/cot for any little ones and is ideal if you are travelling with a canine companion! The space We are excited for you to join us in this beautiful corner of the Loire Valley! From the moment you reserve a room to friendly adieus at departure, we hope you feel at home with us. Situated just on the edge of the charming village of Langeais, off-street parking is available through our gates on Rue Rabelais as well as protected bicycle parking for cyclists on the Loire à Vélo. We are just a few minutes walk from the SNCF train station, the historic Langeais château, the banks of the Loire, our bustling Sunday market, and a variety of restaurants and bars featuring local cuisine, beers, and wines. While with us, enjoy times seated or relaxing in the hammock of our hillside forested garden full of gingkos, cherries, apples, oaks, maples, and magnolias. The salon, library, and generous outdoor table under the verdant vines of our kiwi offer an inviting and cool respite on even the warmest of summer days. Furry friends are always welcome to join our resident Breton Spaniel, Clyde, who joins in warmly welcoming you to Le Clos Rabelais. Guest access You have access to all aspects of the shared property just at the edge of Langeais village! During your stay We are excited to spend as much (or as little ;) time with you as you would like! From a welcome drink to breakfast shared around a common table, we are sure you will enjoy your stay with us and the other guests who join! Other things to note Please note that the quiet garden room is at the top of the garden up a flight of stairs and a hill path, or through the sloped garden, so is not suitable for guests with mobility issues.
