A Standard Guest Room (Shared Bathroom) situated within the SHARED original main section of house of our gracious 1900's Heritage Guesthouse. The Lodge is conveniently located within walking distance to UNSW University, POW Hospital, Randwick Racecourse & Centennial Parklands. A variety of cafes, pubs , supermarkets, banks, and specialty shops are just around the corner . Excellent 20 minutes bus connections to Central Train Station, Bondi, Coogee - all accessible with the Opal Card. The space A quiet , air- conditioned standard SINGLE room (for ONE Person) with its own kitchenette, study desk and Single Bed. The Room and Common Areas are exceptionally clean, quiet and private. The Main Original House accommodates approx 15 Single Residents sharing the common bathrooms and kitchen. Most of these residents are long term professionals, workers, students or nurses who work nearby. All are quiet, responsible and decent individuals who respect the privacy of others. The room has its own kitchenette with basic cooking facilities including Bar Fridge, Microwave, Cutlery and Crockery. The Common Areas include : 8 separate cubicles containing 4 toilets and showers with a Vanity. A modern and up market Common Kitchen with Cook tops, Oven, Fridges, Freezers and a huge assortment of cooking appliances. It features a stone alfresco bench with Bi-Fold windows and overlooks a relaxing backyard garden with BBQ and seating under a magnificent 70 year old Mango Tree. The Guesthouse is well managed, clean and quiet - it is a spacious ,warm and comfortable environment . Guest access All Common Areas - Kitchen, Bathrooms and Outdoor spaces are accessible. The room is incorporated within the Original Period Guesthouse and the Common Area are shared with our other Long Term Residents with access to the sunny and relaxing front, back and side gardens. Security is excellent with digital locks to the Main House and Individual Bedrooms. All guests are welcome to utilise the coin operated Laundry situated within the main house. During your stay Jeff manages the day to day operation of the house and resides on site to provide assistance if necessary. On other occasions, an offsite manager is also available. Other things to note The Main Original House accommodates approx 15 Single Residents sharing the common bathrooms and kitchen. Access to the Room is through the elegant main entry of the Guesthouse or automatic side entrance gate. A personalised key code will be provided within 24 hours before check-in for access to digital locks at the Main door and the Room door. Fresh Linen and Towels are supplied and changed weekly. The Room is comfortable but no catering is available. Television service is for Free-To-Air channels only, no Cable-TV is available. WIFI internet service is complimentary and strong.
