Guest suite in Ruckersville

Renovated lakefront apartment, downstairs from the main home. It is located on beautiful Greene Mountain Lake with year-round lake and mountain views. Wildlife on the lake includes geese, herons, ducks, osprey, eagles, turtles, and beavers. The setting is serene and peaceful. You will have a private entrance and a covered porch. Kayaks are available for your use on the lake. Unit approved with a Special Use Permit for Tourist Lodging by Greene County. The space This is a large living space with a private bedroom, a kitchen area, a living room and a dining/game area. There are views of the lake from these rooms. The kitchen has a full-sized refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and sink. There is no stove, but a hot plate and electric skillet are available. The area is very private with lots of open space adjacent to the lake. We would appreciate quiet hours between 10:30 pm and 6 am. We welcome children, but toddlers must be supervised at all times. The lake is close to the house and could be a danger if children are unsupervised. We also require that at least one member of the group be 21 years of age or older. If you have a pet, it must be a service animal or a small pet (less than 30 pounds). It must be crated when you are away from the house and is not allowed on the beds or furniture. Guest access This is a downstairs apartment that includes a covered patio, backyard and lake access. There is a fire pit with Adirondack chairs with cushions to enjoy the sunset and lake/mountain views. Other things to note We are conveniently located close to the Shenandoah mountains, hiking trails, Walmart and the towns of Stanardsville and Ruckersville. Charlottesville is only 30 miles south.
