Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Relax on the deck with a great hilltop view of the surrounding area and great sunsets. The pictures should provide a good idea of the living area and bathroom. A kitchenette is part of the main room. A small deck is also provided. Parking is close to the airbnb building. Please note that in the winter there is often snow and ice in our area. We normally do not clear our driveway unless it is a very large snow event. We will attempt to clear excessive snow off the walkway and stairs. This does not mean the walkway and stairs will be completely clear of snow or ice. The stairs are outdoors so they will often be wet. Parking is located near the airbnb. There is an air photo provided in the photo section that shows the location. The stairs are outdoors so they will often be wet. There are honeybee hives in the area. Home grown fruit and eggs are sometimes available. If interested please request. When available guests may purchase eggs for $1.00 for 6 eggs or $2.00 for a dozen. The fruit is free when available. The hammock listed as one one of the "beds" is actually a fold out cot with pad. It is available upon request. The couch is a full size couch, not a hide-a-bed. The couch is very comfortable as long as the person is not very tall. While we do not list a yard as part of the amenities there is a small area at the bottom of the stairs that guests are welcome to use. We provide two outdoor chairs that are located on the deck and can provide additional chairs upon request. Upon request a freezer is available. For long term guest it can be added for free. We will request payment of an additional fee for shorter term guests to cover the work involved in moving the freezer. The fee will depend on the length of the stay.
