We welcome bookings via Airbnb however bookings do attract additional charge up to $150 management fee added to our base rate, then divided in the number of nights selected. Rustic, warm & cosy log cabin built from recycled timbers & stone in a beautiful natural setting on the banks of the Delatite River, 1 acre private land. The space The cabin features floor to ceiling windows where you can sit and relax all day long, watching the kangaroos, deer and exotic birds against a backdrop of beautiful hills and grounds. Thoughtfully fitted out, the cabin features a kitchenette, cosy loungeroom with wood heater, reading nook and dining space. The kitchenette allows for basic meal preparation with small bench top oven & cooktop, pots, pans and utensils plus crockery and cutlery. The bright and modern bathroom features a freestanding bathtub, shower and sink and a half bathroom / laundry space features a toilet and sink. A drying room is attached to the accommodation for all ski and snow boarding equipment. Guest access Play Shack 4 - River Shack is located on 1 acre of land and is the smaller of the two buildings on the large riverfront grounds. The second accommodation onsite is an award-winning 4 bedroom accommodation in Australia called Play Shack 2, also listed online, however, River Shack, also know as Play Shack 4 is only made available for rental at limited times . If other guests have booked the main house, you do not share any common areas or any amenities whatsoever. Other things to note We require a $500 security deposit/bond which will be requested at least 2 days prior to your arrival date. This will be returned within 7 days after your departure pending a satisfactory inspection and the T’s & C’s all adhered to. We require photo ID of all adult guests. The kitchenette contains all you need to make a basic meal or re-heat a prepared meal. There is a small portable bench top oven, electric double burner cook top, microwave, electric fry pan, kettle, toaster, utensils, cutlery, plates, fridge & freezer. We have a full sized Miele dishwasher and preparation area. We highly suggest you plan your meals ahead given the basic kitchen. The entire kitchenette is integrated behind rustic, hand crafted cupboard doors, from local recycled timbers, to blend seamlessly into the cabin feel space. Airbnb define a “kitchen” to be a space to prepare meals, not necessarily a full kitchen containing built in oven. Feel free to contact us for clarity. Please note there are two properties on the same 1 acre of land. This property is the first accommodation to your left as you come down our drive. Normally there is no one occuping the main house. If there is, we will let you know. No amenties are shared at all between the 2 accommodation.
