Description

Away from the bustle of the Main Road and situated right on the beach, our second floor apartment is a warm, homely and attractive space in which to relax and unwind. It can accommodate couples or a family. Its big picture windows overlook Fish Hoek beach and offer magnificent views of early sunrises and evening moon rises. This popular seaside spot has soft sand, fabulous safe swimming and long walks. We want you to settle into the space we have created so you feel comfortable and at home. The space Our apartment is fully appointed and well equipped. We have created a homely, comfortable environment which we love. The main bedroom has a king-size, extra-length bed and beautiful views. The second bedroom has two beds (and the possibility of a third) and enjoys a view of the mountain. Our three large comfortable couches call out for lazy afternoon naps with the sounds of sea and seagulls in the background. You will find everything that you need, from sharp chopping knives to cotton sheets. The washer and dryer are actually a laundromat in the building next door. Guest access The full apartment is available for your relaxation and enjoyment. Other things to note There are stairs up to our apartment. WATER CRISIS IN CAPE TOWN We are experiencing the worst drought ever in the recorded history of Cape Town. City wide measures are being put in place so that we can avoid the terrifying event of running out of water completely. The city and community are working hard to restrict our water usage to less than 87 litres of water person per day. This is still more than enough to be comfortable hydrated and clean but it takes some basic life style adjustments. This is what you can expect: You may experience lower water pressure and occasional water cuts as the City of Cape Town is enforcing water rationing in certain areas. We have provided buckets to catch shower water, basin water and sink water and we use this to flush the loo. We no longer take baths and restrict our showers to no longer than two minutes. Close the tap while brushing your teeth. If it is yellow let it mellow. Try to flush the loo as seldom as possible and use bucket water where ever possible. We have also provided spray bottles and cloths so that you can wash your hands freely without having to use running water.
