Beautiful rolling country. Local activities - golf, walking, star gazing, wild swimming, riding, fishing, cycling; near beaches, Galloway Forest Park, Culzean Castle, Dumfries House & Burns Museum. Ten minutes from Dalduff and Blairquhan wedding venues. The space Stylishly refurbished, with both central heating and a wood burning stove, logs provided free, king sized bed with luxurious linen and towels. Ample hanging space. Well equipped kitchen with hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge; iron and ironing board, hair dryer; use of the washing machine. Travel cot and high chair can be provided. Key box for easy access. Guest access Parking is in the courtyard close to the Studio. We are happy to share our beautiful garden with considerate guests. Croquet and fire pit with logs are available. Dogs welcome under strict control as we are surrounded by livestock and there is a hose and towel for washing and drying your dog. We live in the old manse with our own dog and cat and are very happy to share our local knowledge. Other things to note We provide basics such as milk, tea, sugar, coffee, oil, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc. If you prefer, the local Community cafe does a great breakfast and snacks and is five minutes walk. The village pub, the Kirkmichael Arms also does great meals and welcomes dogs in the bar. I am an interior designer and my husband, Patrick, is an architect. He was born in the area and we have lived here for 30 years after a time in London. We love our house and garden and the village and look forward to sharing it with you.
