Scandinavian Escape-Valhalla Suite

Our log home, rich in Scandinavian decor, is nestled against a forested hillside, overlooking the grandeur of the Enchantments. Just 2 miles from downtown, it was the happy dwelling for the 20 years we raised our children. Today, we have added three beautiful guestrooms with private entrances, private decks, and private baths. We invite you to share what we have been blessed to enjoy! The space The largest room, which historically rents first, is our luxurious and spacious Valhalla Suite. Our goal was to create a space which is decidedly different from any other luxury suite you might have previously experienced. We believe we achieved that by using soothing earth tones; deliciously soft linens; heated travertine floors in the on-suite bath; and natural appointments that add texture and a definite reminder that you are staying in a European Country Inn. The Valhalla has a stone fireplace with a sitting area; two decks to enjoy all of the rich scenery; on-suite bath with a walk-in shower and a two person jetted tub. Guest access Besides your guest room, you are free to enjoy your own private deck; the library sitting area with Butler’s Pantry; large deck with Mountain View’s; an outdoor spa; and in the summer, a gorgeous in-ground swimming pool! During your stay We live on the property, and are available a good bit of the time should you need anything during your stay. We are also readily available by cell phone! Other things to note Once you turn off East Leavenworth Road onto Lovely Lane, it’s important to know that our inn is situated at the END of the lane! Continue past 4 homes, wind through the trees, and continue up the hill to Scandinavian Escape! IMPORTANT REQUEST: Please help us be good neighbors by observing the 10 MPH speed limit as you are coming and going on Lovely Lane! Our neighbors are concerned for the safety of their children and pets. Thank you so very much!
