Dar Mouassine is located in the prestigious Mouassine district of the Marrakesh medina, a five-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa Square and one minute from the souks. Nestled in the quiet of an alley (derb), Dar Mouassine is an authentic bourgeois house of the 18 th century fully restored that has kept its charm and elements of original decor. The proportions of this residence are perfect, both in terms of the size of the 6 bedrooms and the size of the living rooms, terraces, patios, garden, and pool. The space The 6 air-conditioned bedrooms including 5 doubles and one triple all offer unique and personalized decor. We have taken care to keep as much as possible the traditional Moroccan decor elements such as doors, cedar ceilings, stucco, tiles etc ... with which we have mixed vintage furniture and colonial elements. The large living room with a fireplace, which was once the residence’s reception room, opens onto the spacious patio, lush with greenery. The pool is in a second patio away. The large terrace, featuring sunbathing areas, a lounge, a pergola, and a shower, will allow you to enjoy the Marrakesh sun in any season. Guest access The entire riad is accessible to you, except for storage and storage rooms. The kitchen area is a small space but you can cook if you prefer. Nehza will be on hand to answer any question you may have. House staff are present daily at the riad for maintenance during your stay. The house has many stairs, only one bedroom is on the ground floor, 4 bedrooms on the 1st floor and the last one on the terrace (more difficult to access) Children are under the full responsibility of parents or guardians. Be vigilant! It is absolutely forbidden to let in anyone who is not part of the group of guests without my prior authorization. Other things to note The house staff are present daily at the riad, but very discreet, for maintenance during your stay. Airport transfers: A service is offered by our driver service to ensure your transfer from the airport to the Riad as well as a Charette service for your luggage and to guide you from the taxi to the Riad. For any requests, please send me your flight information to arrange your arrival. For on-site visits, a driver can also accompany you on your travels. All bookings will be made in a personalized way and directly with me. Latifa can cook delicious Moroccan cuisine for you on request. Please request it no later than the day before for the next day. Hearty breakfast: €8/person (fruits, homemade yogurt, Moroccan crepes, pancakes, eggs...) Lunch (various salads, skewers…): €17/person Traditional Moroccan dinner starters/main course/dessert: €23/person All these amenities and services are to be paid on site in cash (euros or dirhams). These rates are applicable from June 1, 2024*. The pool is heated from October to April. A cover is provided to limit the evaporation of water, protect from external pollution and preserve the temperature, it is your responsibility to put it back in place for your own comfort. Thank you for your understanding. It is forbidden to take the linen from the riad for your excursions, as well as after henna tattoos. As the riad is an exclusive rental house and not a hotel, we do not change bath towels every day. These are changed for stays longer than 5 nights (unless there is an exceptional accident). In addition, the end-of-stay cleaning is included in your rental price, but this includes standard cleaning (floors, kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms, change of bed linen). If we were to call in several housekeepers to get the riad ready for the next guests because you didn't leave it in an acceptable condition, we'd have to charge you an extra €50. If a carpet needs to be cleaned by a professional after being stained (wine, alcohol, etc.), you may be charged for this additional cost. Daily cleaning includes living spaces, terrace and bedding (excluding: dishes if you have cooked or stored your belongings). Outdoor areas, pool and plants are regularly cleaned.
