Misty River Retreat

Only 10 minutes drive away from Blenheim central, unwind in a modern 2 bedroom cottage surrounded by native trees. You can feed the alpacas and take a leisurely walk around the privately owned riverside conservation area. The space Stay in a modern, architecturally designed, two bedroom semi self-contained cottage set in peaceful, relaxing surroundings. The large windows facing out to native trees provide a nice green outlook. Enjoy a light breakfast with locally made bread and homemade preserves. Both rooms are at opposite ends of the retreat they are dual purpose, the queen room has a TV and sofa and the super king room has a dining table. Kitchenette and bathroom in middle of retreat. A private garden with deck off the super king room provides you with outdoor seating and private garden plus your our own access to the protected riverside conservation area. Guest access Parking is provided outside the main entrance. Guests are welcome to take a walk around the protected riverside. Enjoy the views of the river and Wither hills in the distance. Other things to note The retreat is private but is situated near our home, it is a shared driveway. In the kitchenette, there is a microwave, toaster, fridge and 2 burner gas hob for cooking. We don't have an oven or full kitchen. (small air-fryer oven can be requested for longer stays) BBQ can be requested during summer months Both rooms are dual purpose, Queen room has TV and sofa, Super king has table and 4 chairs. We recommend a two night stay if you wish to see everything the property has to offer. Most guests regret staying only one night. Sorry, no EV Charging. There are free EV charging stations in Blenheim
