Quinta Sunshine offers a simple, comfortable place to enjoy an Algarve holiday. The countryside setting and comfortable modern facilities are paired with proximity to a pretty village and a short drive to spectacular beaches. The decor is colourful and bright with a modern Portuguese cottage style. Many items are vintage or upcycled, with things like mattresses and sofas new and modern. Cool off in the private pool and relax in the large garden with plenty of space to enjoy a meal outdoors. The space Quinta Sunshine is a 2 bedroom Algarve recently refurbished by a Brit. Surrounded by a relaxing garden with swimming pool, covered dining area, shaded deck, sunny terraces and outdoor lighting giving plenty of spots to sit and relax, any time of the day or night. An outdoor, unheated swimming pool and sunny patio and decking area gives plenty of areas to relax in. Inside there's an airy living room, spacious kitchen, family bathroom and two large bedrooms, plus a comfy sofa bed. So up to five or six people are welcome to stay! Bedrooms and living room have air-conditioning units for cooling and heating these spaces. A spacious and peaceful place in the sun, my home has been refurbished as a place for guests to enjoy with simple Portuguese decor and modern creative style. The house is accessible on one level from a large sunny terrace that's ideal for enjoying a meal outdoors. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas in the large garden including a new deck where you can enjoy the shade or a spot in the sunshine, watching the birds and Algarve wildlife. A covered seating area has a large table and there's lighting so it can be a great place to chill out at night. Please help yourself to fruit from the trees in the garden including oranges, apples, grapes, nespera, plums and figs. But don't let kids do anything in the garden unaccompanied as it is rustic in places. Inside, the kitchen has all modern facilities, including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, oven, electric hob with 3 plates, fridge freezer and a French press cafetière for making coffee. There's a good size table to eat at in the kitchen as well as an extendable dining table in the main living room and two large tables in different places outdoors. The living room has 43inch TV and a large sofa with chaise long, and two comfy arm chairs. The sofa can be transformed into a bed for more guests to sleep on if required. There is air conditioning in this room. Bedroom 1 overlooks the garden and the river and has a comfy double bed, wardrobe, chair and air conditioning. It's a peaceful place. Bedroom 2 overlooks the terrace at the front of the house and has two comfy single beds. There is also a wardrobe, chest of drawers, chair and air conditioning. The bathroom has a powerful shower and hot water heater, colourful tiles and lights and glass shower screen so you can enjoy a bright refreshing shower. Plenty of fresh towels and toiletries make this a great place to freshen up. WiFi connection means you can enjoy being connected anywhere in the house or garden. Cot and high chair can be provided on request at an extra cost for guests with young children. Guest access All parts of the house are accessible to guests, with a large garden, terrace and shady decking areas and swimming pool outside. Children must be supervised in the garden and pool area at all times. My partner and I occasionally stay in the completely separate flat behind the house which is not accessible to guests. It has its own private entrance and we come and go quietly so not to disturb the private access guests have to the main house, swimming pool and varied outdoor areas for eating, sitting and relaxing. Other things to note The house is located near to a road which, like all roads in the Algarve, can be busy in the summer. 300m away passes the A22 road which can take you to all parts of the Algarve quickly. You will find the location ideal for driving easily around the region and it is quick to get to the best beaches in just a couple of minutes driving. I try to price the stay accordingly. Parking for 2 or 3 cars off the road in front of the house behind a small walled flower bed. My partner and I occasionally stay in a completely separate flat behind the house so we can be available to help guests if needed.
