The Bright Room Historic Tudor Home near I-95 & 58
Near I-95 and Downtown Emporia. Lovely Tudor Style House from 1934. Great place to enjoy when traveling around. Apart from staying just one night, this is a great place for long term rentals, especially people working temporary jobs for a couple of months near Emporia. Also, students who come to the area for training and internships, are welcome to stay. Friendly for travel nurses, ODU, physical therapy students doing their practical experience, Brunswick Power Plant, and other term workers in the area!!! This is a unique two-story house, with lots of character. We call it the "Gingerbread house". The model was ordered from a Sears Roebuck Catalog in 1934. Staying at our house is in some way a trip to the past, a cozy place to enjoy and relax. Our guests can enjoy all common areas of the house: living room with TV and access to cable channels, formal dining room, kitchen, kitchen nook, sunroom, and a beautiful deck with gazebo. We are not always at the house, but you can call us and we will will answer you as soon as possible. In walking distance, you have a Seven Eleven and a Dollar General. Emporia has unique and wonderful stores around. Other favorite places to eat in Emporia: Mexican Restaurant El Ranchero, Home Plate Dinner, and Logan's Dinner. You will need personal transportation in the area. The house has parking on premises and there is plenty parking in the front and the rear side of the house.
