Fish & Hunt Delaware County and reconnect with nature in this rustic OFF GRID cabin out in the woods. This converted hunting cabin boasts beautiful views, simple living and not a soul in sight. Come enjoy the peace and quiet on the large covered deck overlooking the Catskills, or walking the 120 acres of wooded trails surrounding the cabin. **Cabin is only accessible via a 1/2mile-long seasonal dirt driveway. YOU MUST HAVE AN ALL WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE WITH GROUND CLEARANCE (ie: truck, SUV, etc). The space The cabin is tucked away on 120 acres. It is extremely private; no houses or people in site or earshot. There is no AC. No Wifi. No drinking water. There is a rain water collection system that is used for the toilet and sink, but not advised as drinking water. The house is powered by solar panels so electricity may be limited at times (especially if used excessively). Appropriate for running the refrigerator, lights, water pump , cpap machine, charging cell phones and other light use. There is a grill for guest use. There are 4+miles of marked trails for walking, mountain biking, bird watching, foraging, fishing the east and west branch of the Delaware river. Spring & fall turkey hunting. Pets are allowed for an extra $20 fee. The driveway to the cabin is a seasonal, dirt driveway that is bumpy .A four-wheel drive vehicle with a little ground clearance is required, such as a small truck or SUV. Guest access The Catskill Scenic Trail starts steps from the driveway entrance. There are multiple access points to the west branch of the Delaware River a few minutes from the cabin. This river is known for great trout fishing. Popular towns Bloomville, Hobart, Delhi, Bovina, Andes and Stamford are a short drive.
