Warm and cozy heated floors, a heated memory foam mattress, and a well-equipped kitchenette to welcome you back from your day's excursions, whether it's kayaking, hiking, wine tasting, or simply nothing at all. The space The Writers Retreat transforms from a filtered, light-filled, open space during the daytime into a cozy den, complete with a warm, memory foam bed, organic linens, and radiant heated floors, to greet you after a day of enjoying the beauty of this pristine coastal region—garden views from the guest house with glimpses of the bay from the front door and courtyard. The kitchenette has everything you'll need for light meal preparation. The Writer’s Retreat has a wood stove that Fire Marshals allow us to use when it is raining or on high-humidity days. I welcome well-behaved dogs and children as guests who follow the policies. The guest house is Not equipped with child-proof safety features. Guest access A lock box is located inside the front gate to the right, on the back side of the gate wall, tethered to the electrical conduit to the right of the glass doors and the left of the bistro table. Please return the key to the lock box when you leave.
