Honeypot Cottage is a converted stable on a small private country estate in the Lake District's Lyth Valley, with private drive, ponds and fields, perfect for exploring the area, well located, rural and peaceful. Abundant wildlife and walks aplenty, the local pub is a short stroll away down a country lane. The unique upstairs open plan living space has a cosy log burner, dining area and compact kitchen and takes full advantage of the scenery with access to the garden via a balcony. The space Honeypot cottage, takes full advantage of the local views with a living area upstairs whilst the bedroom's and bathrooms are downstairs. We have Leather Chesterfield sofas, high quality soft furnishings, linens and personally sourced antique furniture and homewares aplenty. This is a romantic country cottage experience to relish. The former stable has original beams and ironwork throughout and is surprisingly spacious inside, set in the privately owned Broadoak Estate Honeypot Cottage is perfect for getting away from it all, country comfort at its best. The laundry facilities are situated in a purpose built room alongside the cottages. Other things to note No pets other than dogs are accepted in the cottages. Dogs should not be left unattended in the cottages or in the grounds. Maximum of two dogs unless by prior arrangement, dogs should be a minimum of one year old unless by prior agreement and house trained. We do not provide travel cots or stair gates and are not able to provide a temporary solution for the open stairs which should be noted due to the design of the cottages. We also ask that children are not unattended in the grounds as we have open ponds and woodland. The Property is fully set up to accommodate four adults. Under no circumstances are additional guests permitted to stay overnight or leave cars or other vehicles parked in our property. The cottage and garden has a maximum occupancy of four adults and is situated on private ground. If you expect visitors to call in during your stay then this should be agreed with the owners prior to your stay. Although we have ample off road parking for two vehicles per cottage, it is not suitable for camper-vans, mobile homes, caravans, trailers, horseboxes, boats or vehicles above the size of a 4 x 4 vehicle which should not exceed 5m in length. We do not have facilities for charging electric or hybrid vehicles. Anyone found charging their vehicle from our sources will receive a surcharge of £50 per day/part day. Tents, campbeds, inflatable hot tubs/pools, fire pits, metal detectors, are not permitted. Although we have ponds they are not suitable for swimming, boating, paddleboarding or fishing. Quiet time after 2230, consideration should be given to other guests at all times. The property is strictly non smoking.
