Sympathetically restored to keep the character of the building with exposed beams, lofty ceilings and cottage windows. There is an open plan living room with kitchen, dining and seating areas. The whole house is wheelchair accessible with wide doors and wet room. The Apple House is the perfect location to explore the beautiful Somerset countryside. Situated on the edge of The Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels with RSPB reserves you have fantastic walking straight from the door. Slightly further away you have the beautiful City of Wells or spectacular Cheddar Gorge (both 4 miles). If you don't want to go in the car you can always catch the bus! The seaside is not so far away at Weston Super Mare and the UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath or cosmopolitan Bristol are just 45 minutes drive. Westbury Sub Mendip has all that you would expect in an English village. The all important pub, church, village shop, post office and school. You are on the bus route between Wells and Weston super Mare. The nearest railway station is at Worle with direct trains to London and Bath. Bristol International Airport is 40 mins away.
